Not to my knowledge. Feel free to make a character from the already determined settlements. Doctor, trooper, farmer... really anything could be considered as long as it is in the bounds of being plausible.

Lasthope is a town of survivors who happen to be quite skilled in the art of surviving by taking advantage of their surroundings, and use old cavalry tactics you'd read in history books or see in movies. Most of the characters are from Lasthope, which had sent out an expedition to explore and make contact with other settlements.

Fort Stevens is quite similar to Lasthope,  yet there are some distinct differences. Instead of being your skilled survivors trained in the art of mounted warfare, these men and women wear actual armor (like chainmail) and focus mainly on melee and ambushing strikes. Some also worship norse gods, so you have a viking aesthetic.

Arlington isn't as developed as the two former, although they have formed a makeshift town in the dockyards of Arlington. While they have access to some guns (which is a rarity now), they aren't quite soldier-esque like Lasthope of Fort Stevens (e.g. they were surprised that the Lasthope/Fort Stevens band quickly eliminated the bandits that bothered them for so long). The party is currently in Arlington, where they rest up and replenish, alongside mourning their recently fallen comrades.
