[@HeroicSociopath] Not really, though I guess if you're so caught up with wooden constructs you could always just use the mud/dirt/etc as a way to control them. We're not saying this because we think your tree golem things are too strong or anything, that's not the issue here. The thing is, Life attunement is kind of a tough topic. It requires direct contact and living matter. No matter how you do golems, it's going to take a lot of mana because...you know...Dirt/wood constructs wouldn't have any muscle on their own. 

All in all, alot of this is overshadowed by the fact that this kind of thing would burn straight through your character's mana. All of that object's strength would have to come from Rex's magic. I'm not saying it wouldn't be usable at all, it would just be pretty unsustainable.
