Liz had been running for hours, the hills being the largest portion of Route 1. They had been pretty well hidden in the tall grass, until she was only a few yards away from them. They were all startled by her fast approach. Most of them scattered, but one of them decided to run directly toward Liz, with much [u][i][b]haste[/b][/i][/u]. He wasn't about to let some human spook him. A fiery aura began to emerge from his body as he charged forward.
