The officer had no idea why the stranger would think something like that other than she was in kahoots with these people, but that seemed unlikely. Probably an overzealous good samaritan who had a background in security or something. Either way, officer Olson backed up, and slammed her foot into the door once more. "Put the hostage down, now! There's no way out!" She yelled though the door. As she braced for another kick, the all too familiar sounds of gunshots burst into her eardrums. Alice flinched greatly, before looking at the civilian next to her. She had shot at the window and began chanting something ominous in some strange other language. "What the Hell!?" Alice shouted, confused. Some kind of pyscho vigilante? She had fired upon the suspect, gun still in her hand. She might have just cost the hostage her life by firing wildly into the room. "Put the gun down! Hands in the air and get on the ground!" Alice shouted in an authoritative voice, raising her pistol at the apparently mad woman. She started shrieking and screaming at the horrendous sight. "Whaaaat! Whaaaaat!?" The frightened nurse leaned away, toward Lauren, as if that would protect her from the nightmare creatures currently slaughtering a group of people. Her eyes were wide in horror and wonder, mouth wide open. As they passed the scene from Hell, Lauren made some nonchalant comment Jennifer didn't hear as she was hyperventilating in the passenger seat, hand on her chest, staring at the space in front of her. It was the end of the world. Satan had returned and his armies were beset upon them all. She imagined the true believers had already been saved and now the rest of them would have to suffer and perish and repent were they to get into Heaven. But right now, she was in an oblivious state of terror.
