DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: It is actually quite difficult to determine the gender of a pixie fairy at first glance as they all are a bit androgynous. The only clear way to understand her gender right away is the fact she wears dresses all the time. She is rather tall for a pixie fairy being 21 inches tall (the tallest of them is around 24 inches) however by most standards she is a very small creature indeed. Dragonfly wings that function is a key feature of any pixie fairy.

DESCRIBE A STRANGER'S FIRST IMPRESSION UPON MEETING THEM.

Curiosity is the foundation of pixie fairy culture, this combined with a seemingly endless supply of energy (of which no one has any idea where it comes from) makes for quite the lively impression. Upon first meeting with anyone and everyone they are bombarded with a frenzy of questions and frantic excitement.

WHO ARE THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY? WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE DO THEY SURROUND THEMSELVES WITH?

She has an older sister, and mother and father back at the forest. Not to mention she has dozens of aunts and uncles. She loves to surround herself with curious, bold, and adventurous people. Fun-loving folk make adventuring even more incredible.

WHERE WERE THEY BORN? WHERE HAVE THEY LIVED SINCE THEN? WHERE IS HOME?

Fix was born in the Fay Forest where the majority of the good fairy races originate from. She lived there her entire life until she was old enough to leave and go off adventuring one month ago. Pixie fairies are a short lived race where 15 years is ancient for them, so she has only been alive for 7 full months. Home is wherever she wants to be which is everywhere!

WHERE DO THEY GO WHEN THEY'RE ANGRY?

Calling Fix just a “pixie” or a “fairy” without combining the two to call her by her proper race “pixie fairy” (which is just a hybrid of pixies and fairies that is able to interbreed) causes her to snappily correct the individual making the error and then she quickly gets over it. She doesn’t really go anywhere when angry especially when she hasn’t been alive long enough to have any chances of getting angry.

WHAT IS THEIR BIGGEST FEAR? WHO HAVE THEY TOLD ABOUT IT? WHO WOULD THEY NEVER TELL?

Fix has an innate fear of her evil fairy brethren, outside of that she has live such a short life she has yet to develop any fears.

DO THEY HAVE A SECRET?

The actual location of the Fay Forest’s heart and the home of all good fairies is a closely kept secret of the fairy races. Only those that have achieved the highest honor are granted the chance to see the location and even then they are never told how to get there.

WHAT MAKES THEM LAUGH OUT LOUD?

Any good joke or prank is a good way to make any pixie fairy laugh out loud, especially if they’re in on it. Being a fun-loving race it is not very difficult to get a joyful response from a pixie fairy.

HAVE THEY EVER BEEN IN LOVE?

She has only ever been fed stories of love, but she has not once felt the emotion.

DESCRIBE THE THINGS THAT WOULD BE HARD FOR THEM TO PART WITH.

Fix has no material attachments except for one: she loves to collect knives and daggers. She hates to lose any part of her collection and is loath to lend out any knives without knowing that they will come back to her in the same condition they were when she handed them out and will be returned immediately after use. The next things she has a hard time parting with are any friends she will make and any and all stories she can listen to or get her hands on.

A clean white or blue dress with decorative white leggings. Pale skin and a bit of rainbow sparkle from the light mist of pixie dust that constantly falls from every pixie fairy.

WHEN THEY THINK OF THEIR CHILDHOOD KITCHEN, WHAT SMELL DO THEY ASSOCIATE WITH IT? WHY DOES IT RESONATE?

The smell of earth and bugs. Hornworm to be specific. It doesn’t resonate yet, however as Fix spends more time at sea she is going to begin to miss such delectable meals.

DESCRIBE ONE STRONG MEMORY THAT HAS STUCK WITH THEM FROM CHILDHOOD.

The tales told to her as she grew up are still fresh in her mind. The strongest of these tales is one of a pirate captain that with his fierce charm, wit, and grand strategy built a massive fleet of pirates that took the sea by storm. However, suddenly he disappeared and infighting caused the fleet to split up and go back to their separate ways. She always disliked how his story was incomplete and held a strong desire to learn the rest of it from someone somewhere somehow.

WHAT DO THEY WANT MOST OF ALL?

She wants to complete the stories with no ending and create new ones.

RIGHT NOW, IN THE FIRST MOMENT OF OUR STORY, WHAT IS THEIR BIGGEST PROBLEM?

Fix is extremely naive about the world in spite of every story she was given by her family. She has little direction except for go off and have an adventure, and now that she is in the first city she has ever been in there are distractions everywhere. As much as she’d like to try everything and experience everything, she needs someone that can act as a guide for her in this strange new world.
