[center]The cordyceps fungus has ravaged the united states and the remaining citizens have been forced into local military checkpoints quarantined off from the rest of the world. The government has enforced martial law on citizens and civil rights have been tossed aside. Those who deny the government is shot on sight and those suspected of being infected are executed without hesitation. 

Your checkpoint lays in the state of North Carolina. Within the checkpoint, several rebel groups have managed to take form and combats the government and local soldiers oppressing the soldiers. Between the fighting weaknesses in the north wall have been spotted and are currently being patched up.

With the constant threat of being killed off by the rebellious groups, government, or the infected it’s hard to survive the constant threats.[/center]

[h3][center][b]Military[/b][/center][/h3]
[center]The faction that controls the military checkpoints. They keep the checkpoints safe from infected and kill all who are suspected of being infected. You can view them patrolling outside of the checkpoints and around the perimeter of it. They often have a lot of recourses and are able to fight off most threats.[/center]

[h3][center][b]Seekers[/b][/center][/h3]
[center]The Seekers are a ragtag rebel group that has been fighting in your checkpoint for several months. They are by far the most well stocked and resourceful rebel group in the city. With members ranging from military to average citizens, their reach is far. Their main goal is to seek out a cure for the infected and have done some unethical research while attempting to do so, not that you would know that though.[/center]

[h3][center][b]Patriots[/b][/center][/h3]
[center]The Patriots fight with the army in an attempt to receive the rights that have been lost under martial law. They are stocked with weapons and bombs, and are not afraid to use them. With members of the local population, they are the second most popular group to join with and have caused the most chaos in the checkpoint.[/center]
