Name: Gredy 'Viceroy of Vice' Silvertongue Age: Appears to be in his mid 20's to early 30's (Real age unknown/forgotten) Sex: Male Race: Goblin Class: Warlock Equipment and Gear: A well tailored, form fitting mana infused silk suit, a pair of 'formal' hiking boots, an enchanted pouch on his belt that is -much- bigger on the inside then on the outside and a magical staff that appears like a microphone stand (complete with enchantments around the head of the staff to amplify ones voice if so desired). History: No one (not even Gredy himself) is sure about how old he actually is (No one really wrote anything down and his parents had a poor memory for dates). He was born in the poorer parts of Kezan as part of a set of quadruplets. Two of his siblings were sold to more wealthy families to become servants and the like while his 'younger' brother that was kept died a few weeks after due to unforeseen health reasons, leaving Gredy to grow up an only child. In his teenage years, the world turned on its head with the arrival of the Orcish Horde under Warchief Blackhand and the agreements that were organized between it and the goblin cartels of Kezan. Seeing one of the orcish warlocks that had come as apart of the diplomatic party of the horde demonstrate her abilities, Gredy knew in his heart that he wanted those abilities for himself. Sneaking onto the orcish ship before it could leave Kezan, he begged the orcish warlock to take him on as a student... and surprisingly she agreed; Maybe she felt in the mood for a laugh, maybe she felt that the young goblin's ambition should be rewarded, but regardless of her motives she taught the young goblin how to wield the fel and make its creatures bow to his command. While the orcish horde would lose to the newly formed Alliance in the end, an older and wiser Gredy managed to survive the campaign and fled back to Kezan with a healthy amount of war spoils before everything fell apart completely and the Alliance could start hunting down war criminals. Now with a sizeable amount of gold to work with, Gredy used it to purchase a fairly large building that he converted into a den for gambling, smut, narcotics and violence in the form of fight clubs. He called his club 'Vice' and it would remain open for decades via good business sense, a cut throat desire to be successful and at times actual curses. While the club itself brought in a great deal of profit due to its nature, Gredy also made a side business of being a loan shark. Unlike other loan sharks, Gredy had an interesting alternative payment method for those debtors or gamblers who couldn't pay up in material goods; An acceptable alternative for Gredy was the payment of some of the debtor's life essence to cover their debt. By draining some of the life out of others, Gredy was able to keep himself in the prime of his own life far beyond what was natural. As Kezan was exploding into flame due to the actions of Deathwing, Gredy abandoned his homeland alongside his staff and their families, taking to the seas on his own personal ship and sailing for Gadgetzan. While the original 'Vice' was destroyed when Kezan was, its memory was not forgotten as Gredy built a new club in the sands of Tanaris, this time naming it 'Second Sin'. For a long time, Gredy remained neutral to the Horde and Alliance conflict quite simply because it was much more profitable that way. He could sell his services to anyone he liked and in return he was able to gather together debts, favors and blackmail material from both factions to be used, sold and traded as he personally desired. Things changed when the Burning Legion invaded. While the threat of being invaded by an endless army of demons was something of a boon towards business due to the sudden surge of people attempting to deal with their stress, Gredy had been around long enough and was experienced enough with the methods of the Burning Legion to know that a Legion victory would be the end of his business for good. A warlock of experience and power, the goblin volunteered his services to the Horde as something of an advisor on the Burning Legion, demons and fel in general. Appearance: Gredy Silvertongue is a successful goblin and his appearance shows it. His clothing is tailored out of expensive materials to fit his somewhat enlarged form, displaying his wealth in not just his clothing, but also with his additional body mass. While he is nowhere as large as a Trade Prince or those goblins close to the top of society, Gredy is pudgy enough to have a double chin. Unlike many who practice fel magic, Gredy has managed to avoid the mutation and degrading side effects via his practice of draining the life out of others to refresh himself, appearing completely in the prime of health with one minor exception; When he was younger, his hair used to be a rich rusty red color, but age and the usage of fel has turned it bone white. He likes to think that it gives him a 'silver fox' air about him. Personality: Everything in existence falls into at least one of five categories: 1. Things that belong to Gredy Silvertongue. 2. Things that belong to Gredy Silvertongue, but don't know it yet. 3. Things that don't belong to Gredy Silvertongue, but are still profitable to him. 4. Things Gredy Silvertongue doesn't care about. 5. Things that need to be destroyed. The exact definition of what a thing is to Gredy is kept somewhat vague, including but not limited to Objects, Places and even People. While he is inherently selfish and somewhat indifferent to the suffering of others, when he considers someone 'one of his people' he quickly proves that he is more then willing to go above and beyond to take care of what he considers to be his. A prime example of this was seen as Kezan was being destroyed with his willingness to gather together not just the staff from his club, but also their families in order to get them all to safety rather then just abandoning them outright.
