If you want to kill her, poison probably won't do it.
Highly skilled with blasters, she's been in many firefights in her life and knows how to handle herself.
She is a very charismatic, easily able to win over people. Her success in assembling a notorious pirate band is a testament to this ability. She knows how to manipulate emotions and is a gifted liar.
She's in top athletic shape and moves quickly on her feet, while she isn't the strongest of people physically, she knows a few forms of martial arts.
Lalni has a strategic mind and always plans ahead. Its difficult to catch her off-guard.
She's a solid pilot, while not the greatest at it she can hold her own in a starfighter.
Weaknesses:

She's utterly ruthless and will do almost anything to achieve her goals. Totally without remorse if whatever she does gets her further ahead. She will lie with ease and break promises entirely.
Lalni is incredibly arrogant, to herself she is the greatest person in the galaxy. One way to get on her good side is to feed this arrogance.
She's vengeful to anyone that betrays her or hurts her. She'll go across the entire star system to seek revenge and it will not be pretty.
She holds a very infamous reputation, it precedes her. This tends to give others a terrible opinion of her before they've even met her.
She has a streak of unpredictability. Not even her top commanders know what she's really thinking or planning.
Her temper is well known among her pirate band, when enraged she does not hold back. It is not uncommon that heads will start to roll, especially if someone fails her. She does not tolerate failure that well, several of the older members in the Marauders baring scars or missing limbs from the punishment she gave them.
History: Lalni wasn't always a brutal pirate queen, her beginnings were very humble. Born to her species homeworld of Devaron, her childhood was not an especially fun one due to her upbringing. Both her parents were frequently physically and psychologically abusive, and almost always inebriated. They took out their own shortcomings and failures on their (then) innocent daughter. Instead of showering her with love and encouragement she was told she never was good enough, that she always had to be perfect and do better. The irony never wore short on her, her parents demanded perfection yet they both were two of the most flawed people she ever knew. She tried to stay out of the house as often as possible. In the lush jungles of her homeworld was where she found peace and happiness. She was always an adventurer, intent with exploring as much of her home planet as she could walk on. Lalni was enamored by the majestic wildlife that filled the world, the variety of beautiful and sometimes dangerous creatures that made the world so fascinating to her. She'd frequently walk through the tall grass, running her hands over the vegetation as the enchanting sunlight broke through the trees which seemed to rise for miles upwards. Her species was a mainly matriarchal society, and women were most often the leaders and builders on Devaron. She was pushed to become the same by her parents, they despised how she'd just seemingly wander in the forests. It was her petty act of rebellion and their resentment towards it only made her do it more often. Practically as soon as she reached adulthood she left her home planet, never returning to it since then. With the small amount of credits she saved up she bought a basic starship, a small vessel that would allow her to adventure throughout the galaxy. She'd end up on Bakura when her credits dried up, and took a basic factory job in the Outer Rim world. The planet's environment reminded her of her homeworld, though she never got the chance to explore the jungles of this new world. That type of adventuring was behind her at that point. Her first boyfriend, who worked as a security guard in the capitol city of Bakura would be the person to teach her how to use a blaster properly. He dabbled in minor drug dealing on the side and would be one of the biggest influences to lead her towards a criminal lifestyle. She spent a few years on Bakura, making a decent amount of credits. Her boyfriend would break up with her and offered another reason to move on with her life. She left the planet behind, moving into Hutt space in search of a more exciting and fulfilling life. Showing her talents with a blaster, Lalni got a job as bodyguard for a traveling merchant. The man introduced her to the black market, and frequently moved spice and illegal weaponry on the side. She never liked him, as he would often cut her pay short and never treated her all that well. He would be the first man she killed after they were besieged by space pirates while traveling through Hutt Space. They were forced to surrender to the pirates. After negotiations, and goading from the pirates she blew the merchant's brains out with a blaster bolt. The act surprised the pirates, but also impressed them. To this day she'll say they simply made a better offer and from the start encouraged her to join them. She was taken along with the cargo onto the pirate ship. She was turned into a member of the crew, her life of infamy beginning from that point on. Though she didn't expect to end up as a space pirate, it was a great way to make money. The ship Lalni ended up on was part of a larger group of pirates, they all traversed Hutt Space looting anything of value. For a few years she spent time with the group, there was no real organization which ticked her off. She made a plan then and there, she was going to end up as the top dog in the pirate gang. She had already climbed up the ranks, earning the respect of many. So one day while on a looting run she swiftly slaughtered the only two men above her in rank, then assumed control of the crew. Once they returned to the larger group she put herself in charge, those that opposed her were shut down by the larger amount that fully supported her. She instilled dreams of infinite amounts of credits, women and power in their hearts. Any dissenters were brutally executed, the rest fell in line and she became the 'queen' of a group of space pirates. She instituted real order and ranks to the pirate gang. She personally beat up a Drunk Dug with a Gambling Problem that dared to insult her in front of her crew, a notable early showing of her brutality. From that point on she formed the Phantom Marauders, she also took advantage usefulness of those loyal to her, they didn't just pirate ships around the galaxy. She got them into the mercenary business, then into trafficking of all types. Drugs, weaponry, it didn't matter as long as it made money, and it did. She never went into the slave trade though, that was too dirty for her. Even someone as ruthless as her didn't stoop to that level, she saw it as below her, she wasn't entirely heartless. She made it her goal to grow the Maruaders as quickly as she could. She'd frequently group up with other pirate bands, form alliances and get them on her side, then she'd kill the leaders and take control, any that opposed were executed. As time grew, less and less opposed her whenever she took over gangs. All of this success further grew her gang to the point where it became the largest pirate band in Hutt Space. She never cared for the Galactic Civil War, both sides tried to stay out of Hutt Space unless it was necessary to be in it. When that happened she'd make sure to take advantage and launch raids on both sides. As the Emperor perished, and the Empire fell from galactic power with him, Lalni paid attention to how it affected Hutt Space. The powerful Hutt Cartels went through a change as well, and she tried her best to stay on good standing with the most influential ones. She hated dealing with the filthy slugs, but they had their slimy hands in all of the trade in the sector. Lalni lays in wait aboard her crown jewel, the Revenant, a captured Star Destroyer, just calculating how to further gain power and wealth. He stands over eight feet in height, and is near silent. A powerful combatant, skilled with blasters and blades alike, he is fearsome sight in battle. His eyes always watching for any potential danger, he is honor bound to protect her due to an owed life debt. They go back a long time, and one of the worst things you can do is to anger him. He is a talented spy and changeling, someone that Lalni strongly respects for his abilities. While not a flawless shapeshifter, Ausc can masquerade as several different humanoid species with relative ease. He's also been known to assassinate enemies of the gang in the past, but does not particularly enjoy doing this as there is far more risk to it than simply eavesdropping or spying. His left hand is missing below the wrist, having been removed after he failed Lalni several years ago. Its since been replaced with a basic cybernetic replacement, but why he lost it will never be forgotten to the elder pirate. Still a sure shot with a blaster, Iakar is often alongside Lalni, giving advice when he sees fit.

Faction Assets: The Phantom Marauders have accumulated a wide variety of ships. A mix match of formerly civilian, Imperial and Rebel vessels, they take whatever they can get their hands on. Anything that provides useful to their cause they use, anything that doesn't they sell. The crown jewel of their arsenal is an Imperial-class Star Destroyer Mark II, the Revenant, claimed shortly after the deaths of Darth Vader and the Emperor. In the ensuing chaos the ship was abandoned, left with a skeleton crew which the Marauders used to their advantage to seize it. The imposing vessel serves as their mobile base of operations, the logo of the pirate band painted upon its bridge. It rarely stays in one location for very long. The smaller ships the Marauders possess include freighters, shuttles, gunships, bombers and hundreds of star-fighters. Larger warships they have several of are six corvettes and two frigates. They do have some tanks, walkers and other ground vehicles as well as a multitude of blaster rifles and the like. They have around five hundred active members who perform all sorts of duties for the pirate band. They're not just raiders, there's engineers, medics and pilots among them. For their wealth, they have a substantial amount of credits, at least fifty million credits altogether. Through their strong connections with various hutts and merchants on the black market, they're easily able to sell the loot they plunder. Rumors are that some within the pirate gang have gotten into the spice trade, but not nearly on the level of others in this market. Faction History: Almost ten years old, the Phantom Marauders began as a small pirate band founded by Lalni Vudeiz. She was already experienced in the criminal lifestyle and began on her own gathering a gang of friends and allies. Operating out of the chaotic Hutt Space provided plenty of opportunity to raid merchant ships. A key component in their growth was the ruthlessness of their leader, Lalni would align herself with smaller pirate bands then slaughter their leaders, forcing the underlings to either join the Marauders or die with their former leaders. They'd extend beyond simply raiding ships, getting their hands heavily into the black market, there they could easily sell acquired wares with no questions asked how they ended up with the items. They also did mercenary work, and bounty hunting work, anything that would bring credits in to the gang. Through the years the Marauders slowly grew, quickly becoming the largest pirate band in Hutt Space. Other pirates fell in line, pledging themselves to the Marauders. The Galactic Civil War was a prosperous time for them, as they strengthened they would grow bold in raiding Imperial and Rebel ships alike. Any foolish enough to wander into Hutt Space were easy prey. They didn't care who won the war. A memorable moment in their history was the chaos following the deaths of the Emperor and Darth Vader, in this madness they managed to seize a Star Destroyer along with other Imperial ships and equipment. In recent times they have continued to be a nuisance to many in Hutt Space, always seeking to grow stronger and wealthier. They have struck deals with some of the notable Hutt lords and carved a place in the chaotic sector of space.
