Part of my inspiration was Looking Glass Wars and Alice McGee's Alice. The whole Biography is a riddle. As I went with some loosely thrown out versions of Hatter. 

I always also just liked the Hatter because in my real life I am diagnosed with Schizophrenia with Paranoia. So it's always been fun to take experiences of Schizophrenia into Hatter.
