They’re more or less hand-cannons. -Lasso. Made of a fine fiber-alloy metal, it’s nigh unbreakable to almost all unmodified, and a fair few modified/enhanced beings. Has a toggleable stun option. -Electrified Combat Blade. Has a toggleable electrocute option, because it’s pointless to stun someone after stabbing or slicing them. -Old-style Cowboy Hat. -A Northless compass. ”I’ll let my Hands decide whether or not you die.” Attunement/enhancements: -Armoured Carapace: Nerazi’ra’s entire body is practically a exo-skeleton, and even most of his internals are at least in some way augmented, though nothing like other Arraxi, due to him opting out of unnecessary enhancements. He can take a bullet or two in the same spot, but apart from that, it’s more or less just fairly hard skin. -Optic Eye: A single eye(of his 6) enhanced to be able to zoom in up to 8x the normal sight range of a human. That being said, he’s at his most inaccurate at that range, and does better within 100m of the thing he’s shooting at. -Slightly Enhanced Senses: Hearing is slightly better than normal, as is his smell and taste. Done by tempering his natural skills, rather than with any actual enhancements. Unique Ability: -Devil’s Advocate: Able to expend the entire magazine of almost any semi-automatic weapon in just under 2 seconds. He reloads his revolvers faster than most as well, due to his quick hands and because of how well he knows them. -Dead Eye: It’s been rumoured Nerazi’ra has never missed a shot. That isn’t true, he’s missed on the occasion, but usually the bullet that missed is followed by one that’s dead on point. His accuracy does drop, however, after about 75 metres, and doesn't bother shooting after 100m, unless it's either for a really important reason, or if it's a huge fuck off target. ”Duck, girl. This place is going to be a free-fire zone soon.” Personality: A strong silent type, Nerazi’ra is more or less inclined towards a ‘good’ alignment, though that includes doing ‘not good’ things to ‘bad’ people. Apostrophes because all of those are perspective based. His perspective is with both money, and with justice. He’d probably be Lawful Neutral, to be honest. Not opposed to doing bad things to good people given the situation, and not opposed to doing good things because they’re good. An outward hard persona, Nerazi’ra doesn’t open up very often, nor does he warm to others quickly, unless they’ve helped him before and are good people at heart. Despite being hard-shelled, Nerazi’ra is prone to being overly nice to people in distress, and will usually go out of his way to help them out, which is the reason he was put on Alcatraz in the first place. ”It’s okay, kid, I won’t hurt you. You hungry?” Bio: Nerazi’ra’s first half of his life was purely the standard norm. He was educated by his mother, then left the station he was on to just explore the universe. He learnt that not everything was all roses and sunshine. He quickly ended up on a backwards planet that was practically run by outlaws. He was in way over his head, and had gotten mugged several times, so he lacked the money to leave this new hellhole. He almost resigned himself to his fate, and so the next time he was held-up at gunpoint, he decided to fight back. Of course, he did nothing, and was promptly beaten to the ground by the ruffian. He took several hard boots the the mandibles and eyes, before they abruptly stopped. He looked up to see the same ruffian, only with the majority of his head missing. At first appalled, he looked through the ruffian’s legs, who was still standing, not yet even registering his death, and saw a man cloaked in a ragged duster billowing in the wind. Nerazi’ra’s true life began that day. The man, an old human, admitted to Nerazi’ra that he had noticed him the moment he landed on the planet, and witnessed the first time he was mugged, as well as the second, and even the third, yet didn’t act on it since Nerazi’ra wasn’t willing to take the risk to stand up against to his oppressors. The moment he did, the old man, who’s name he never disclosed, acted as well. He took Nerazi’ra under his wing, and started teaching him the Creed, something the old man made himself. Over a great many years, the old man honed his skill, and taught himself how to fire something that isn’t supposed to be fired rapidly, rapidly. Thus why he chose revolvers as his main companions, which he of named “Left Hand of the Devil” and “Right Hand of the Devil”. He thought that to exact justice on those deserving, the Devil had to make the decision whether or not they deserved death or not. He taught Nerazi’ra the Creed, which valued justice above all else, including one’s own life. Soon, Nerazi’ra changed to be more like the old man. Cold and unforgiving, but also caring to those that needed it. He quickly adopted the old man’s Creed as his own, and with it, started learning the skill of rapid firing things that shouldn’t be rapid fired, short name “Devil’s Advocate”. Sadly, several years after meeting the old man, he came to an end on a distant and mostly uninhabited planet, dying peacefully from old age, but not before he handed over his prized revolvers to Nerazi’ra, and making him promise that he would live by the Creed, and maybe even eventually, find an apprentice himself to keep the Creed alive through the ages. At this point, Nerazi’ra was a master with the revolver, and was also skilled enough to be classified as a crack-shot. Although still not as proficient with the ‘Devil’s Advocate’ skill, he was still a terror to behold. He travelled through the planets, dispensing righteous justice where it was due, and taking up bounties where ever he could find them. He built a decent reputation for himself, and occasionally clashed with a planet’s law enforcement, and as such he was forced to kill the occasional officer. Then, on perhaps the most fateful day of his life, Nerazi’ra met a very young Sapishte. She was hungry, and of course, Nerazi’ra took her under his wing for a couple days until she was healthy enough for him to take her out and find where she was from. It was after those couple days, that he learnt that she was the personal plaything of the head of one of the local Mafia bosses who escaped from him, and as such, several henchmen were dispatched to find her. They tracked her down eventually, but instead of finding a defenseless little Sapishte, they found Nerazi’ra. He gunned down a dozen men in less than a second, then another one was ‘subjugated’ physically, before being forced to spill his guts about the Mafia Head’s whereabouts. After getting that information, Nerazi’ra executed the man, then took the little girl by the hand and went off towards the location. It went downhill for the entire Mafia from there. Fueled by rage, Nerazi’ra cut a swathe through the lackeys, straight to the Head of the Mafia, who, in his panic, called the local law enforcement, many of whom he had in his wallet. They didn’t get there in time. Nerazi’ra put a bullet in the Head’s feet, knees, crotch, elbows, hands, shoulders, and left him to bleed to death, which he did. Sadly, though, the entire facility was surrounded by men and women of the law, so Nerazi’ra either had to put the Sapishte girl at risk shooting his way out, which he probably could have done, or to give up and make sure she got a good life somewhere. He chose the latter. He stepped outside with his hands up, and his guns holstered, and made sure the Lawmen gave the Sapishte girl a good home in exchange for him going quietly. They agreed. When the time came, he was put on trial for almost countless murders of criminals, since that was still regarded as murder, as well as the far fewer amount of murders he committed on lawmen all around the universe. He was sentenced to several hundred life sentences on Alcatraz for his crimes, and that’s just what happened.
