[@LunarisDaFox][@Heckno12][@Kitty] OOOKAY!~ Here's the second character. Hopefully she's not too similar to VOICE, but I think she's fairly different enough~ Do tell if I need to change anything or need to expand on things.

"Logged: Interaction with non-adapted organic. Speak before we tire of your form. Grrrah...apologies. They forget who's in control here sometimes. Erm, odd question...you got any food on ya? They don't feed us enough and they get cranky when we don't get fed."
Name: Deseri Linvall Alternatively: 'Omega' Race: Human, if she could still be called that. Age: 27 Gender: Female/Genderless nanite Swarm Appearance: You would be forgiven for thinking Deseri is some sort of android from the sheer amount of metal she has showing on her body. Her entire left arm from the elbow down has been replaced with a large, metallic fitting resembling some sort of triangular stake when in its resting state. A series of cables and tubes connect it to her lower back and spine in various places. The rest of her body is equally mechanical in nature. The 'body suit' she wears is more akin to a protective outer shell that has been secured to her body by a series of locks, screws, and bolts, that would require a bit of work to remove. This is the 'base' of her augments, and her arms and legs function entirely from it. Her arms and legs themselves are made of a synthetic mesh-weave that is more durable and resistant to burning than natural human skin. Artificial muscle fibers are easily seen under the skin, ensuring that she is more than a match for most humans. Various empty access ports can be seen all over her body - for use with linking up with her exo-suit. Aside from her heavy augments, Deseri stands at a fair five foot seven, and her mechanical eyes glow a luminescent orange. Her 'hair' has a natural color of grey-white. She has an overall slim body build, and if it wasn't for the wires, mechanical augments, and her attitude she probably wouldn't be all too intimidating. She weighs around 192lbs, thanks to all the metal in her system. Staring at her too long might prove creepy, when you realize she doesn't blink and constantly has a wide-eyed gaze. Equipment: N/A Attunement/enhancements:
Swarm Multi-Processing: While she was nearly savant-level genius when it came to cybernetics and robotics, with the addition of being able to delegate thoughts and tasks to the 'Swarm' as it were, she is able to seemingly think and process thoughts much faster than a normal human would be able too. Basically, think of it similar to a computer with many, many, processors that are able to run tasks and thoughts simultaneously. Bionic Reinforcement: Deseri's physical body has almost ceased being organic in most aspects. She is heavily augmented, sporting an almost obscene level of enhancement only seen elsewhere in the Arraxi. Eyes, spine, limbs, muscles, skin...the only part of her that isn't completely augmented in some way is her mind, and even that has some modifications to allow her to process the Swarm. All four of her main limbs have been entirely replaced with metal augments, and the bones in her torso and chest have been reinforced with metal alloys. Overall she would be extremely durable and can withstand quite a bit of punishment before showing some wear or tear. Her 'Organs' Are similarly reinforced, but would still cripple her if they were injured in a major way. Bio-fuel engine: As per their nature, the Swarm runs on a special Bio-fuel made from consuming organic compounds. In order to facilitate this with Deseri, the swarm has made it so that any food she eats instead of going through the normal digestive process, instead produces this bio-fuel. Effectively, this means she can eat pretty much anything so long as its organic. She has long sense lost her sense of taste, so she can't really complain too much, though she still gets 'hungry' more often than most humans. Nanophage Bio-Weapon: Omega Class These? These things are nothing more than a plague. An extremely dangerous nano-phage based plague created as an efficient bio-weapon by some Arraxi extremists, using Deseri as a host for them. They are designed for only one thing - consuming and destroying organic matter, and assimilating metals and other inorganic compounds for use. The nanites have no no true intelligence, despite seeming like they are quite often and function via a hive-mind like consciousness, with Deseri as their 'queen'. The Phage's main goal is to parasitize organic creatures and bring them under its 'control'. Thankfully for her, the hive mind has decided that it is best if its host retains its free-will in order to operate at maximum efficiency, but that doesn't stop it from exerting some control over Deseri. The Hive-mind as one might expect, is extremely logical, always urging Deseri to take the mostly logical route when dealing with things. The only thing overriding this directive, is its desire to consume organic matter and assimilate metals for use in its swarm. The machines run on bio-fuel, broken down from organic substances so it is imperative that it consumes a steady supply of organic material. What kind, it isn't picky - but it is ravenous and passes this along to Deseri at times. They are extremely vulnerable to EMP's and electrical shocks outside of the host's body, and a well placed EMP grenade or other similar object will likely take out a number of them, at least long enough to create an opening. Failing that, energy weapons work best. Cutting some off from the rest of the swarm, will greatly reduce their intelligence and efficiency, as they work best in large numbers where their hive-mind works best. Like an insect hive, the swarm can not function well without its 'Queen'. They can exist without ever her controlling them - but the further they stray from the 'Queen' or some other control node or operator of some sort, they basically loose any higher functions they might have. Stray far enough away and they'll just be harmless mosquitoes that just like nibbling on people and unable to use any more of their higher functions. In such a situation, they would likely disperse or enter a hibernation state as self-preservation protocols trumped any sort of other things. They have about half a mile range from a 'Queen' before they start loosing functionality, which would drop exponentially depending on how many 'Units' are in the individual swarm. (Since Nanites are rather small, lets say a single unit would be a loose mass of them about the size of a basketball, if that makes sense.) I'd say they would need around 20-30 individual 'units' within a half-mile radius to retain their higher functions at a further distance away from the Queen. This would include the Hephaestus-morphing and the ability to 'assimilate' metals and things.
Unique Ability: Hephaestus-class Multi-Tool: Phage Corrupted An experimental tool she developed some years ago, and being infected with the Phage, who quickly adapted its technology and abilities for itself. The weapon was built to be a multipurpose tool for welding, self defense, and well...everything! It was made with expensive nano tech that could shift and re-purpose its form from a command from the holder of it, effectively granting the user access to any tool it might have need of so long as it was within the units memory banks and it had the material to do so. It could shift into melee weapons, cannons, work tools...anything, really. Without getting into too much technoabble, it accomplished this by extremely powerful and small mag-locks, and a neural or some sort of suit uplink. Originally, it was just restricted to the owners lower arm, where they would hold the tool, though Deseri was a special case, in having the tool grafted directly to her lower left arm to compensate for an accident during a ahem *weapons* test. When the phage took it over, they adapted this tech into their own design using mechanical knowledge taken from Deseri's mind. Thus, this enables her to effectively command the nanites and allow them to mold her own body to an extent, now that it's mostly been completely replaced with metal. Razor sharp blades capable of slicing, guns, and any logical weapon in the swarms memory banks. It should be noted the swarm is incapable of learning new things on its own. It has to rely on its 'queen' for that, or by consuming and breaking down already existing things. Her favorite use of this is the old energy cannon she frequently used back before all this happened. It's able to fire blasts of orange, white-hot energy of varying degrees. Omega Swarm: Deseri has nigh complete control over the swarm, though at times it seems to resist her influence if it finds what her human mind is doing illogical. Still, the hive-mind more or less follows the lead of its queen as long as its able to achieve its directive of 'consuming' and 'assimilating'. Her body has been designed by the swarm to passively generate these, though they're not a great number or amount of them, especially with the non-aggression field. She would need some time to have the swarm make more. Still, she can control them outside of her body and have them do a variety of tasks. With them having picked up the design from the Hephaestus prototype, she can effectively turn them into a variety of different things on the fly. Attack drones, repair drones, and things of similar nature until they are destroyed or she commands them to do something else. Or she can keep them as the swarm they are, and have them attempt assimilating or consuming something. The Swarm is a very logical being. It might only have semi-sentience, but it does understand that its 'queen' is more 'intelligent' than it. So more likely than not, unless she does something directly against their main programming protocols they will listen to her 99% of the time. For the most part, unless they need fuel they are fairly docile, so long as they have enough fuel to function then they shouldn't be too bad of a problem unless the swarm is allowed to grow unchecked. The larger it is, the amount of bio-fuel it would need. The way they work is fairly simple: The queen suggests something - the swarm okays it or doesn't. They propose something else, which the rest of the swarm Okays and then the queen rejects. Process repeats until either the Swarm gets cranky or they reach a shared conclusion. In case of Swarm getting cranky, Deseri can exert some control over them as a sort of their leader, and in the case of division where some repeatedly agree and some don't the ones who side with the Queen will then proceed to cannibalize the ones who don't. Personality: On first appearance 'Deseri' is a fairly amicable and overall lackadaisical person with a habit of making sarcastic comments. She enjoys working on machines, likes fiddling with robots and other such things. She spends most of her free time fiddling with her own body or communicating with her swarm. Oddly enough, she's rather happy with her position. A little too happy to figure out what they can do at their full potential. She takes a fairly friendly, if sometimes overly friendly or familiar one towards other people and for the most part aside from speaking in plurals such as 'we' 'they' and 'the swarm', astoundingly normal upon first glance. At least, until the swarm starts getting hungry. And as ravenous as it is, that is more often than not. She can and will, tell the swarm to devour people whole to satisfy their fuel. For the most part, she can placate the small number of the swarm with simple human food, as her body doesn't digest things normally any more, instead turning anything eaten into organic bio-fuel to fuel her various mechanical parts and the swarm itself. When the swarm 'Assumes' control so to speak either through perceived self-preservation or through appetite, she becomes a merciless thing. Cold, cruel, logical, and will eliminate whatever the threat is or consume until they've had its fill. And it is never satisfied. Thankfully at least, their appetite only increases with the number of them...so long as she keeps their numbers under control, it shouldn't be much an issue. Bio: Born to a military family on earth, Deseri has a fairly normal life growing up. Both of her parents were military, her dad a Marine soldier and her mom was an engineer that took care of the military's toys and helped in the R&D department. Needless to say, Deseri decided to try following in their steps. She took to her dad's somewhat strict training regime eagerly, as well as academics at school and made a point to excel in both. It quickly became apparent that she had a particular talent for robotics and mechanical engineering, just as her mother did. She breezed through school, and when she was 18 she joined up with the military and quickly became distinguished as one of the brightest and youngest they had in the academy. When in boot camp she spent her free time modifying weapons, designing new things, and generally tinkering with military hardware, much to the chagrin of her superiors, but for the most part she wasn't reprimanded for it as she mostly put everything back the way it was. Most of boot camp went by quickly, and she graduated with flying colors, which is when her career finally started taking off. With things as peaceful as they were in the universe though, she didn't get to see much in the way of real action. Most of her time was spent tinkering with military hardware, fixing and repairing things and making things stayed in top shape. Occasionally, they had to deal with some rebels, terrorists, or extremists but for the most part most of her days were spent without incident. When she turned 20 though, she was noticed by the military's R&D department, the same division as her mom worked in. She had pulled a few strings to let Deseri into the department, which she quickly distinguished herself practically as a savant in the bio-engineering, mechanical, and cybernetic fields. Particularly so when she lost her lower left arm in an accident involving a laser-cutter, a high powered telescope, and some strong ahesive. (Don't ask). Instead of making do with a simple prosthetic, she made her own. A state of the art thing she called the 'Hephaestus Tool', which she continued to refine and improve upon through the years. Peace doesn't always last though, and a few years passed when they got word of some Arraxi terrorists planing a bio-attack on some important diplomats, based in a small city on earth. So of course, the military was bough in and so was some of the R&D department to see what exactly they were dealing with. Well, it went horribly wrong. Turns out it had been a trap by someone she's still unsure about. Not that it matters now - anyone in the complex that wasn't part of her unit had been consumed. Her and her unit were ambushed, drugged, and were planned to be as used the bio weapons themselves using an experimental nanite-based bio weapon. Deseri was the first and only subject. The people had...overestimated the swarms obedience and the ability to be contained. As soon as they put the things in her, they immediately started turning her into her now mostly machine state integrating her nerves, limbs, and other biological functions into their system. For a time, Deseri and the swarm were docile, while they further augmented her. Cut off her other limbs, replacing them with artificial ones, and giving the swarm the material it needed to work on any other delicate internal changes to her body. At least, until the swarm deemed that the scientists should die. Assuming control of Deseri, the swarm completely annihilated the extremists, devouring them within seconds. Soon, the phage spread to the outside and started devouring the civilians as well. Deseri managed to at least, get the other soldiers that were with her out but the aftermath was...not pretty. After managing to return to the base she and the team were held for questioning, and the Arraxi government were understandably wanting answers and justice. Deseri herself was kept confined in solitary in a facility where bio-hazardous materials were kept. After weeks and months of political back and forth, talks, bogus trials, false accusations, and politicians wanting to sweep this under the rug, they reached a verdict. The Arraxi were not happy. The Queens saw her nothing more as a weapon now - nothing more than a hunk of metal and would have treated her as such. However, after outcries from Deseri's old squad mates who she saved during the incident, her dad and mom pulling some strings they managed to avoid a death sentence for being a 'bio-hazard' - though what she got wasn't much better. A specially designed cell aboard the Alcatraz. Air-tight, small, with specially designed emitters in the room that produce a low-level electrical field that disrupts the swarms higher thought processes. The door to the cell is a heavy duty double security door that can forcibly close and trap whatever is locked in there in. She is to be kept with minimal contact with other people and for the most part remain in solitary.
