▸ Clan compound:

The Clan Compound is built in between a few high standing smaller mountains, the highest point being built into the incline of a mountain and slightly rising above the rest, this is where the Clans Main Hall, to the West of that is another large building but not comparable to the Main Compound, it is the Head of the Clans Residence. Spread around and between these two are the homes of the civilians, though these two building do sit higher than the rest of the town. Located to the East is the Hospital that is rather small to other villages hospitals. The West is where the Blacksmith compound is located – this building is second in size compared to the Main Hall. Here there are Smiths working around the clock foraging news weapons and perfecting the craft, also riddled alongside the West is shops, and the market. The center of the Clan Compound is composed of the school and training grounds – where anyone can willfully walk by and see the training sessions. Around the Clan Compound are very thin, decently made metal sheets serving as walls around the compound – which in later generations will be remade into thicker more substantial walls and provide a better sense of security. xx. Head of Clans Family Home If looking at the village head on it, is located to the East of the Main Hall – it is larger than a normal civilian home. Of course filled with every normal room a civilian house holds plus more. The home is adorned inside with rich materials, and small relics of history from the Clan overtime. It sits higher than the rest of the compound, but flush with the Main Hall. A underground tunnel connects the two. There is also an area located out back amongst the gardens for training. xx. Clans Main Hall This being the largest building of the entire compound, is able to hold every clan member if there were ever a reason to do so. Upon walking up to the Main Hall, you are to follow a long path that is about 500 ft away from the rest of the village, the small steep incline leads to a few pillars and small rock wall surrounding it. Upon entering the giant doors inscribed with the clans symbol spilt between the doors – you will enter the main hall. Here at the back of the room is a stage that sits only a few feet higher than the floor. To the left and right are 4 doors each, the left side consistent of rooms for the Shinobi/Samurai, a mess hall, etc. The right side all connects into one hallway, there a few doors that lead under ground but are under constant survellience and guarded night and day. Civilians are not allowed to enter the right side unless escorted. All doors but one, lead underground to the jail, interrogation room, and more. The one door that does not lead down, leads up to the second and third floor in a spiraling staircase. The second floor houses the Meeting Room, looks like a typical large room but with a table in the center, and giant windows that show the whole village beneath it. The third floor is the Clan Leaders office. xx. Hospital Much smaller than most, it does not have a very big Emergency area, or many rooms for the injured. As to come back injured from war, when faced with death or life – is frowned upon. Bushido is taught, and adhered to in the Clan’s code, the hospital mainly sees the faces of ill civilians, expecting mothers, and rarely ill outsiders. xx. Clan Training Grounds/School This building is the second largest in the compound, located right in the center of the Compound. Passerbys can walk by and turn their attention to the sparring students, or graduated Shinobi. Any who care to train, which is highly advised to train every day – even mentally to keep the body, and mind as focused and in excellent condition to serve their Lord when needed. The school is one level, and sits on the same level as the rest of the village. Inside are few classrooms, as well as a few larger rooms inside for training when the weather isn’t ideal, or overflow training. xx. Blacksmith Stables A rather large, and elongated building – presumably in equal size to the school. Here apprentinces under the most skilled Blacksmiths will learn the trick of the trade. This building has everything needed to continually create weapons, always kept on constant watch in case there is a diminish in resources. There are also sleeping quarters, a small mess hall, and other amenities needed for living inside the building. For those that choose to live in the Stables. Clan was formed. The leader being Jūkōtetsu Akane – a fierce Warrior trained under father, pridefully taking after him in his gracious ability to wield a sword. Then there was Nobou, a very respected blacksmith who was known for his critical craftwork, creating a perfect weapon every time. The two met by fate, and history began to write itself from that point forward. It would be during this time that the clan was settle into a mountain range in the Rekkai Providence, and set begin to build their compound in a smaller mountain range that almost completely surrounded the compound – a metal wall would be put up in effort to seal off the remaining open spot. The Jūkōtetsu Clan would begin to slowly build its militia, but the trading and selling of weaponry would outmatch this – and the clan would soon become known throughout the Land of Fire for its high quality produced weapons. Clans would send members out to the Jūkōtetsu Compound frequently to make these deals, so this kept the clan busy with work. It was during this time that Akane saw how much foot action was being had, and the frequency of visitors – that’s he began to realize they had something others could want. So the Academy for the Jūkōtetsu Warriors was produced, and she would begin the start of her militia. The Clan largely ignored the Sage of Six Paths, and his sons – this being through Nobou’s asking. As he only saw it could be a distraction to the rising of the Clan, and wanted them to do nothing with oracles. Akane, on the other hand, was interested, but this would peak during Ninshu. Aside from the becoming the biggest outsource of weaponry Pre-Ninshu, the Clean was also efficient at creating a self-sustaining living environment. Due to Nobou training, and creating many more talented Blacksmiths, the clan’s compound quickly grew in size, each new addition to the compound being built rather quickly and through generations always upgraded. Every building eventually through time would be adorned with steel plates, this earning the Compound and Clan the nickname of “The Village Forged of Steel”.

Age of Ninshu ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— [sup]The period of time where the Rikudō no Shinsen introduced Ninshu to the world.[/sup]
It would become during the age of Ninshu that the Clan would prosper in many ways -the trading and selling of weapons seemed to be at an all time high. The Clan’s army was skilled, and very effective during any turmoil that arose during this time. Word had spread through the Land of Fire of the strict and secure code the Warriors lived under, but none seemed to protest it. That being due to the fact that death would follow any that dared speak out or stepped out of line. Akane was the prominent leader, with Nobou at her side for everything. But it would also be around the this time that Nobou would take a fall from grace, and his life would end due to an unknown illness that befell him. Where lies death, also lies birth – and Akane would soon find out what she was left behind with one last gift from Nobou. A child. With him gone and no longer there to be her voice of reasoning – there would be a great shift in the Clan and it would become over run with a hunger for more power. Nobou kept her away from the Sage of Six Paths and his sons, but now Akane wanted to find them. It didn’t matter who directly, she wanted to be know if she could harness this power that was being whispered about through the Land of Fire. Around the time she desired to take a leave of absence from the village to find what she desired, it would land right into her lap as one of Asura’s trusted companions visited the village to spread the teaching. Akane would gleefully, and greedily obtain all the knowledge she could – and then pass the teachings down to her more skilled Warriors. Though, unfortunate to Akane, she did not have an affinity to Ninjutsu. Also having to take a break in her teachings to give birth to the future Clan leader, her son, Jūkōtetsu Norio. Akane still attempted in perfecting the craft of her chakra control and flow, learning that she could send it to her weapon to strengthen it. It would be Norio, that would gain the affinity for a light use of Ninjutsu, be adept in her skills and dance of weaponry, and he even had a gift of forging. Everything would come natural to him, and he would be the greatest figure of the Clan to live.

Sengoku Jidai ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— [sup]Warring Clan Period[/sup]
Unfortunately for Norio, his mother left to him one last parting gift that didn’t transcend through the land in a positive light. She was sending Warriors out to visit villages for weeks on end, monitoring the youth and abducting them – bringing them to the Academy, and training the children to build herself a better army. Alas, cruel fate over took Akane in the coming years to the Senogku Jidai era, and she befell an illness -leaving her at death’s door. It would then be up to Norio to clean up the mess his mother made, as he did not have the same views as her when it came to training the youth. He was a bit more lax in his views towards the code, but still upheld it to ensure a functioning war machine militia. Tensions were high across the nation with other villages, especially since now the Clan was suspected of his mothers doings. Unfortunately, for Norio, the accusations were true and there was no way he could lie about the abductions. It would be his duty now to restore order with other Clans, and Villages during this time. As Norio took the title of the Clan Leader, the village began to become more developed. Metal was seen everywhere, coating the Main Hall, Stables, Family house, and Hospital – soon spreading to civilian homes as protection. The Village was becoming one of steel, that almost seemed impenetrable – but in reality it was thin sheets of metal crafted by the blacksmiths. Many of the Warriors that grew up during Norio’s mothers reign still seem to hold a blood thirsty view towards war. Feeling the need to honor the Clan Lead at any time, in any way they can. The loyalty of the militia she built up is actually seen in a defined light, the constant training and teaching of the code has seemed to lay a very sturdy foundation for a fine working military.
