Anju is known for being a lot of things. Among these are a reputation as a heavy but incredibly tolerant drinker, a flirt, and a fiercely competitive individual. Most people get a cup of coffee to start them off in the morning, but Anju is not most people. Instead, Anju kickstarts almost every day with an extra sugary daiquiri. She says it's because the sweetness puts a better taste in her mouth in the morning than most other alcohol, like bourbon, for instance.

In case being a borderline alcoholic wasn't bad enough, Anju is also quite the flirtatious individual. During her time in the Divine Crusaders, it was considered a rare occurrence for one to not be on the receiving end of her flirting at least once. It wasn't a bad thing, though; the majority of the DC personnel, even the females, thought of Anju as very beautiful. If only she didn't get so obnoxious when people asked her to stop...

Competitive is another adjective that is rather apt when describing Anju. Be it drinking, gambling, or even battle, she is never one to turn down a little competition or start one of her own. She's quite the skilled pilot, too, albeit a bit reckless. She'd be lying, drunk, or both if she said she never got shot down during simulations, or at least left out any instances of her going in over her head. Oh, well; everyone has their downside.

Anju has [i]legendary[/i] alcohol tolerance. Before she joined the Divine Crusaders, there was a time where she took part in a drinking competition with three other men. Amazingly, she lasted a lot longer than either of them, downing at least six more glasses of sake than the second place winner before finally crashing.

[b]Bio:[/b]
Anju was born in Osaka, Japan, to a police officer father and liquor store owner mother. It was a rather busy and alcohol-centric part of town, so the family was never horribly short on cash. As such, Anju got a good education, plenty of interaction with other people, and a sizable allowance. It was enough to carry her through her child and adolescent years, but once she reached adulthood and moved to the colonies...

When the Divine War started, Anju found herself slotted in with the Divine Crusaders and began piloting a Lion. A string of successful simulations and live battles solidified her status as a skilled pilot, and enough of one to warrant an upgrade to a Guarlion. At one point, she was even given an offer to join the Treue Unit, but refused, preferring to be part of the main DC force instead.

When Bian Zoldark died and the Divine War ended, Anju and the rest of the UCC merged with the EFA forces. Anju found herself getting lumped in with the UTX team, an investigative team focusing on the various weird things going on around the world as of late. She kinda misses her time spent in the Divine Crusaders, but so long as she gets to keep her Guarlion and kick ass with it, she couldn't be happier.

...She just wishes the Feds would let her keep alcohol on board the damn thing...
