Name: Hazel Ada Stoll Gender: Female Appearance:

Age: 22 Job: Technician, PT Pilot Personality: Impassioned, opinionated, and downright fiery if you get her started on the right topic. Not that you’d be able to tell any of that; as far as anyone can tell, Hazel doesn’t speak. According to Federation physicians she is capable, but chooses not to for reasons unknown. She is, however, far from uncommunicative. Between sign language, a text-to-speech function on her PDA, and a truly impressive range of facial expressions it is exceptionally difficult to miss her meaning. Generally Hazel doesn’t have much interest in conversing with her coworkers, though topics that hold her interest can draw her into at least a brief conversation. She isn’t antisocial, per se, just… Disinterested. She can almost always be found tinkering with one of UTX’s machines or another, and will happily engage in ‘dialogue’ regarding any facet of their performance, maintenance, or design. It was her primary role during the DC War, and subsequent L5 Campaign, and one she fulfills with relish. This extends to fictional machines, as well, and seems to be an area where work and play intersect very happily. Hazel can be a little mistrustful after her experiences during the wars, and is highly critical of the Divine Crusaders and United Colony Corps despite her grudging admiration for the foresight and mechanical genius of Dr. Bian Zoldark. Enormous Aggressors fangirl. Frequently builds replicas of the machines she works on. For reference purposes, of course. Skills: Mechanically gifted, as her career requires. She is qualified to perform maintenance on all mass production models currently, or previously, employed by the Federation and that is without including her extracurricular fascination with them. This extends to an intuition regarding enemy machines, provided that she has some reference point to draw from. In Hazel’s case that means most known PTs and AMs; due to her time in the DC War she encountered the majority of machines that underwent any degree of mass production during the war. Though not a formally trained tactician, this also gives her an above average tactical sensibility based upon her knowledge of their specifications. Much more surprising is her capability inside of a PT, as she did not undergo formal training until recently. Circumstances during the recent conflicts forced her into the cockpit of a Gespenst Mk. II M, a machine she piloted with unexpected skill. At the conclusion of the campaign some light was shed on this; during the course of formal training she was shown to be T-Link compatible, marking her as a previously unknown latent telekinetic. Subsequent testing indicated a fairly low raw potential, but Hazel has desired to explore it as much as she possibly can. Outside of her career, Hazel is an accomplished builder of [s]scale models[/s] miniaturized reference examples. Similar hobbies take up much of her free time. Bio: Hazel was born in 165 SE, and had a fairly normal upbringing on the United States’ west coast. She had a high aptitude for learning about things that interested her, but proved entirely unconcerned with things she found boring. It wasn’t until she was fifteen and the PTX-001 Gespenst rolled out from Mao Industries that something truly captured her imagination. She studied hard every day afterwards, learned everything she could about the machines and their pilots, and aimed to become a technician for the Federation. Visiting Mao Industries one day became something of a dream, and she proved more than knowledgeable enough to be a tech for the Federation. That time was almost idyllic for her, but became more complicated when the DC War began. Hazel almost couldn’t comprehend what she saw as the folly of Dr. Bian Zoldark, and in the fighting that followed was tapped to fill a vacant Gespenst on short notice. Given the emergency nature of the situation, she got little more than a crash course but proceeded to perform exceptionally under the circumstances. It wasn’t until after the L5 Campaign (aliens?!) that she underwent formal training. During the course of it she was marked as T-Link compatible, a fact that was forwarded to Mao Industries. Despite her performance, her… somewhat odd personal habits proved something of a sticking point in the post-war Federation. It was for this reason that a place was found for both her skills and her disposition; the newly formed UTX. A few months after her training she was sent to the Moon following an offer from Mao Industries for her to use their currently mothballed RPT-007TT. To say she was ecstatic would be an understatement. Unit: RPT-007TT Gespenst Mk. II TT Unit 1 Appearance:

Weapons: -Split Missile -Plasma Cutter -Mega Beam Rifle -Burst Railgun -T-Link Ripper Equipment: -Tesla Drive -Dual Sensor Notes: Brought out of Mao Industries’ facilities, the TT is a surviving unit from the DC War and L5 Campaign. Despite no longer being a current model, it was the only spare unit with any T-Link technology. At Hazel’s ecstatic, and hopeful, request she was permitted to keep the trophies she had used with her old Mk. II M and have them installed on the TT.
