Makoto and Pichu manage to disembark from the ferry safely... save for the former's left arm still hanging limp. "So this is Melemele Island..." Makoto says, marveling at the urban landscape of Hau'oli City. "It's so different from back home in Ula'ula, Don't you think so, Pichu?" Pichu lets out a squeal of delight before hopping off her Trainer's shoulder, feverishly sniffing at the air. Makoto chuckles. "Looks like someone found the malasada shop! "Hey, come back!" Makoto cries out in vain, with his empty Pokeball still in his right hand. Pichu returns to her Trainer's shoulder, but not before showing him something she found. "A Berry?" Makoto asks. "I'm guessing this was supposed to go down there... to the sewers. That's probably where their nest is located." He rubs his chin. "But why the hurry, though? The darned thing didn't even have time to fight me—it just up and ran away!" "Pi..." Pichu whines. "I mean, it's not like there are any predators in the city, right?" ROAR! "Me and my big mouth..."
