[b][color=fff200]How did you discover your powers:[/color][/b] Almalthia discovered her powers at the age of nine when she was in a serious car accident with her family. They were hit by a drunk driver on the way home from her grandparents house. Her parents died instantly but her five year old sister, Chelsea, was severely injured in the roll over. Almalthia tried to get her parents out but it was no use. Her sister woke up and started screaming and crying so Almalthia got to her and held her hand. Soon the little one stopped crying and screaming and Almalthia got her out as the paramedics arrived. Both the girls were covered in blood but not wounded. Their grandparents arrived at the accident and took the kids. They kept the kids and they cautioned them to not say anything about what happened. Chelsea soon forgot but Almalthia remembered. And she started her accidental zoo after that incident. Her grandparents discouraged it but didn't stop her from using her powers. They set up an interview with the school after hearing about it and the benefits from it. Almalthia being an honors student got a scholarship to go there and is taking full advantage of it.

[b][color=fff200]Why did you choose the side that you did?:[/color][/b] While Almalthia is all for equal rights for mutants she believes that you don't need to kill to get the point across. She is very much a pacifist and the Brotherhood would not let her be that way. She prefers the philosophy of Professor Xavier and identifies with it. However she wouldn't hesitate to heal anyone who was wounded no matter where their loyalties lie.

[b][color=fff200]General History:[/color][/b] Before the accident happened she had a typical childhood. Nothing out of the ordinary. Her grandparents did look for signs of mutant genes only due to the fact that it was prevalent in the maternal line. 

Normally it manifested itself as a small healing factor and they could pass it off as a strong immune system or luck that a child didn't get ill. However Almalthia got more of that gene than previous generations. 

Her grandparents saw this and had spoken with her parents about it and in a fit of pique they packed the kids up and decided to head home to cool off after an intense argument. This was the worst decision they could have made. The accident happened and with it Almalthia's life changed drastically.

Almalthia focused on schoolwork and being a, for all intents and purposes, normal girl. She worked hard at not bringing home healed pets but her love for animals and life soon won out. Her grandparents saw this and as much as possible worked with her to keep it hidden and discourage it as often as possible.

Her relationship with her grandparents is very good. She understands that they keep her safe and that they want the best for her. Grandma, Wendy Darling, is very involved in the grandkids lives and makes it a point to teach the girls about family history. Being born and raised on a farm and raising the girls on one has been pretty quiet and easy. The girls endeavor to please, when not bugging the hell out of her. Grandpa, Peter Darling, is your normal quite farmer but very loving. He does on the girls and spoils them rotten. Almalthia's grandparents didn't want her to get a job at 16 and the scholarship fell into their laps.
