[b]Personality[/b]: Akari tries to put forward the appearance of being cool and aloof, but isn't particularly good at keeping up the illusion. In truth, she is excitable and enthusiastic, with a zest for life and a habit of taking massive risks in the name of fun. Her loud, boistrous nature makes her naturally magnetic, but makes it hard for her to navigate more sensitive topics.

Despite her fathers protests, Akari is still an avid gambler, though truth be told, she enjoys games of all kinds.

[b]Power[/b]: [u]Chance Manipulation[/u] - Akari can remotely control the result of any chance based event she can see. For instance, she can determine what side a coin lands on or what the top card of a deck will be. The restrictions are that she cannot manipulate events that seem random but are actually controlled (like a game of darts, which is based on skill) and she cannot influence events she sees via electronics (So she can't, for instance, rig the lottery by watching the winning number be drawn on tv).

[b]Bio[/b]: Akari was raised by her father, a divorced convenience store owner named Shiro Funagami. Shiro was kind to a fault and very patient, but not overly bright and had no idea how to raise a little girl. He and Akari lived rather simply, but the two did their best to keep eachother in good spirits.

Eventually, Shiro's store started turning less and less of a profit. The two began living in abject squalor. In order to ease the burden on her father, Akari began to search for away to supplement his income. This is when she stumbled into the seedy world of gambling. Intimidated at first, Akari soon found that she was actually a gifted gambler. Almost supernaturally gifted.

Eventually, every reputable casino for miles had thrown her out and Shiro, not wishing to see his daughter fall any further into the disreputable part of society and suggested that she attend Tatakai Academy to develope her powers and find a safer, more reliable use for them.
