On the topic of passwords in OOCs, I tend to find them kind of silly because A) they're usually really obvious and could be picked up just glancing at the rules or another character submission without reading the whole OOC, and B) it's usually pretty obvious when someone didn't read the OOC through. If I had a shot for every submission I've read where the character in inappropiate for the kind of roleplay, absolutely nothing that would hint at why the character would participate in the group in the first place, having prohibited abilities/ equipment/ etc. that were outlined in the skeleton, or just be completely out of touch with the game's themes and direction, I would still be drunk and it's been well over a month since my last RP came out.
