[@AnnaBeth] There's some vague mentions on ships and such from the Old Republic Era actually surviving into the Rebellion era, can't really find anything specific at the moment, but I'm fairly certain that there's probably one or two of those old birds sitting around in scrap yards or still laying where they fell on old battlefield worlds. As for other Old Republic stuff, I'm not quite sure what you mean lol. I do prefer that era, but just because some species or whatever featured in that era doesn't mean they didn't exist in the Rebellion era. Miraluka in particular were having a rough time of it from the Empire, likely reason for my pair to have left the homeworld.
