I am familiar with baby's first Shin Megami Tensei. Well, I'm familiar with Persona 2 to 5. Never played the first. I'm also a huge fan of the main SMT series (And spinoffs like Persona, such as Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner, Digital Devil Saga, ect.) I don't know about fully being a Co-Gm, as I've kind of gotten burnt out on it, but I can toss some input your way if you need it in the future.
Thanks! Here's the first post of another version of the RP I made on another site; it's largely obsolete, but some plot points are the same:
====== New Multiverse Government/Kaiserreich Coalition Osamu Akiyama would call Meilarch, Talion, Kalo, and Takuya into the New Multiverse Government Operations Room, a large oval space with several tables equipped with holographic projectors. Osamu himself sat behind a central round table, which projected a hologram of what seemed to be Earth. Once the two New Multiverse Government operatives were seated, the young scientist-mage would start: "This is one of the many parallel Earths that exist in the Multiverse; Earth-Persona. The importance of this universe is that the local laws of magic allow human thoughts, feelings, and dreams to create 'sub-universes', other worlds connected to their Earth. These sub-universes are filled with supernatural creatures, much like my Earth's 'Digital World', only more...primal and willing to kill. But I digress. In Earth-Persona, conflict comes from the battles between 'Persona-Users' and 'Greater Entities'; Persona-Users are people who when thrown into a sub-universe, avoid dying by accepting their suppressed fears and desires and overcome them. This allows them to manifest a Persona, a manifestation of their innermost self that can fight for them." He would pause, then continue, "Greater Entities, meanwhile, are born from Humanity's strong desires and emotions, like the desire for happiness, the desire to give up one's freedom for security, and even the desire to die. Every few years now, Persona-Users have been fighting Greater Entities for the fate of Humanity. The most tragic of them is Minato Arisato, of the third generation of Persona-Users; he sacrificed himself to seal away the manifestation of Death, Nyx, which was being summoned by the embodiment of Humanity's despair, Erebus." Holograms of the people and entities in question would then be shown by the projector. Osamu said, "Our own entity, the one named Interest, has notified us that Suffering has sent a space fleet there; six Star Destroyers and dozens of lesser ships. They have also stopped time on Earth-Persona proper so that none of the local heroes can interfere. In response, we are sending a fleet of equivalent size, centered around six Mon Calamari Crusiers and dozens of corvettes and frigates. We don't know their goal, but Interest has told me that if we make this battle interesting enough, then enough 'narrative conflict energy' can be generated for me to conduct a ritual that will rewrite that universe so that Minato can be saved without unleashing Nyx to kill Humanity. Which is why I am coming too." He then added, "I also sent a message to the Kaiserreich; they agreed to send 'observers' to the battle via spaceship. If we give them a good show; that would do wonders for our alliance with them." Imperium of Suffering Fleet It would be the first time Suffering directly spoke to Glyfnir as he and his battalion rested inside the Star Destroyer Obedience in preperation for the coming battle against the New Multiverse Government. This was a signal honor, if only because when Suffering cared to do so, they can make their voice alluring and seductive, a flame that lit up base desires. And the entity cared enough for Glyfnir to do so, it seemed, measuring its tone and pitch to the young man's preferences. Glyfnir Tuegronir Dorgwyn tje Nelzor, the bait has been laid and the enemy approaches. Among them is one I would have you take captive, even if the rest of the foe succeed in their mission otherwise. A picture of Osamu Akiyama then appeared in the Captain's mind. Osamu Akiyama is the foremost scientific and magical mind of the New Multiverse Union Government, able to work wonders that bend the rules of reality. He also holds the secret of how to revive my former counterpart, Happiness, and that must be prevented. Take him, torture him, show him the futility of life. And in turn, you will gain the immortality you so seek... New Demon Empire + Kaiserreich Ganondorf would learn from his minions that a universe settled by an entity known as the 'Greater German Reich' existed; a wary ally of the New Multiverse Government that had held back the Imperium of Suffering on its own. He would also learn that most of the Reich's forces had been diverted to the front lines with the Imperium of Suffering, and that it was seemingly weak, weak and vulnerable to conquest by someone of his powers. There would be suggestions from some of his smarter and more independent minions to invade the Reich and its multiple planets, to gain strength to withstand both Imperium and New Multiverse Government...
