I have been digging through the deepest bowels of Ubuntu, Telnet, and PHP all day trying to get my IDS system configured properly.

It doesn't work correctly. At least, not the most important parts, including the search bar. So I'm taking a break for the rest of the day and may take another crack at it tomorrow.
