Local Time

*Note: No more needing to Pm me for rolls when it comes to Nora, Lauren, Mahendra - They all have reached a "Okay, I can deal with this" point. Now that will change if they ever see him without his mask on, lol. But for now, play it as calmly or nervously as you wish. Whatever is fitting to the characters personality. Streets Of Cairo: Unlike others in the side street, the older couple gave Mosi distance when she came over. The older woman just smiling in her direction and the man nodding somewhat as he went on with his business. There were many fabrics that were hanging on various bolts so one could touch and get a feel for them. Some with thick and coarse, others you could nearly see through them as if you were looking through a pane of glass. They had some pure silks but they also had blends, many were fur based with silk woven into it. It seemed to let them breath more while retaining a lot of the silks properties, it was a good middle ground for the area and weather, as well it likely cut the cost of production and materials down greatly. The old man took down a light olive toned bolt of silk blend and held it out to his wife. She nodded and pointed over towards another bolt, which he pulled down as well. This seemed to continue until they had fix or six different bolts down. They all were different thickness, but the colors all complimented each other. "Good?" the old woman asked as she tapped Mosi on the shoulder and motioned towards the stack they had created. Then she started to point to the bolts of fabric and then to the item she was wearing it could be made into, from the light weight veils and head pieces, to the average weighted blends for general skirts and tops, to the thicker stronger ones for covering during times when the sands kicked up. "Yes?" she asked with a slight smile. It seemed they had color coordinated everything she would need to create something that would work well with her skin and eyes. The Barracks: Aziza was slightly caught off guard as the door opened. He had sprayed well indeed but it wasn't enough to cover the pungent odor. In fact the atomizer seemed to only enhance the smell. As if someone had poured a bottle of perfume over freshly stepped in camel dung. They were not complimenting smells. Coughing a bit as Haakon and Josephine made their way away from the Lord Majors office and back into the main courtyard she forced a smile. "Um yes, we need to speak with you please," she said before taking a deep breath and making her way into the office, Sgt Walsh on her heels before the door closed behind them. "I am sorry but I have nothing stronger than tea here currently," she explained before her attention was turned towards Peter as he spoke. "It looks as if everyone is coming around, come, let's get everyone sitting and upright once again," he said as he assisted Mahendra to his feet and motioned towards one of the chairs over by the table and opposite of where George was seated. "I believe George has already prepared some tea for you. Might do you some good. Nothing a right proper tea can't fix. Stiff upper lip as my uncle would say." George chuckled a bit as he looked back down. "English and their tea... Mm... Bible tell you Jesus turn water into tea instead of wine?" he asked Peter as his eye trailed over to him. "King James version of course," Peter countered with a bit of a chuckle. Stepping over to Vera he pushed her curls back slowly. "So, is there anything we can help with? It was the main reason other than checking on your well being that brought us here." Vera's eyes widened slightly before she looked down at her watch. "Oh heavens! We must be on our way. Excuse me Peter, George. Lady Kingston and I were just about to leave about the permits when you arrived. We must make haste if we care to have this finished by this evening," she said in a hurry as she rushed over to her desk, brushing passed William and half tripping as she did. Gathering her hat she placed it on her head, then her purse and folders of papers. "I will escort you out then," Peter said as he smiled towards her and glanced over towards Nora. "Perhaps I should attend with you, the Lady Kingston I do apologize but you seem as if you could use another set of hands for this matter. Would you be opposed to myself and my friend attending to you and Vera on this outing?" he asked as he offered his hand to her. Neema brushed herself off and looked over towards Lauren. "And we should be getting down to the archives once everyone is ready."
