Hm. This reminds me of an RP I was a part of a solid three or so years ago called 'Kite - The realm within one's Heart'. The gist was that modern-day people were plucked out randomly for whatever reason and suddenly dropped into a new, strange world which turned out to be a twisted variant of their own fantasy. The world didn't make much sense and wasn't friendly to the PC's, with the two main goals being to figure out why they were all there and how to get back- [i]if [/i]they wanted to get back at the end of it all.

It never got very far, sad to say, but this gives me similar vibes and makes me hopeful for re-exploring a similar concept. Keep me in the loop on this one, I'm definitely interested.
