[@KatherinWinter] Bastian isn't leaving her with the man, for any amount of time. He doesn't know if his presence makes a difference in what he'd do or say to her if you weren't taken. He has already ignored his questions/statements, to stare at her. His behavior is clearly erratic. 

The man offered to let her inside "to warm up", not both of them. Just to clarify that exchange.
