Her father was a warrior and a hunter while her mother was in charge of the home. She would be their only child and the couple loved her deeply. As a young girl her mother taught her how to weave baskets, make clothing, cook, and taught her different plants and what their uses were for. Zuya was never appreciative of the things her mother tried to teach her, however, as Zuya wanted to be like her father. She wanted to hunt and be a warrior, but her mother always shot her down. Secretly when her mother wasn’t looking her father would take Zuya out and taught her how to use a bow. She loved spending this time with her father, tho it did cause some issues between her father and her mother. When Zuya was 14 she had her first encounter with a white man. The man with the funny accent, which she would later learn was originally from a place called Scotland, came to her tribe to trade with them. She was very intrigued by this man and loved to sit with the other children of the tribe to listen to him tell stories. He was always very kind to her and her people and because of this she began to look forward to when he would visit. On one visit before Zuya turned 15 the man, who’s name she had learned was James Anderson, brought his son with him. Ethan wasn’t more than 20 at the time and Zuya was awestruck by him. In time they grew closer to each other until two weeks before she was to turn 17 he had asked her to marry him. Despite objections from her mother, her father agreed to the marriage and they were married on the day she turned 17. She was frightened to leave her tribe and family, but she knew if she had Ethan at her side she could do it. She was soon to find out that not all were as kind to her and her people as Ethan and his father were. They moved into the town of Dawson, but soon were run out to the outskirts of town by Dawson’s men. Life was not made easy for the young couple and they often struggled to survive as many in the town were unwilling to sell them things or even employ Ethan. They made it by with her husband hunting and trading with the rare few people in the town that were willing. This went on for several years, but they always managed to make it by. Eventually Zuya became pregnant and the couple were so very excited to be having a child. Their happiness was short lived unfortunately when 6 months into the pregnancy Dawson’s men showed up at their door. They claimed Ethan owed them money and an argument ensued. Zuya was uncomfortable the whole time as she was getting unsettling looks from some of the men. Before she could register what was happening a shot rang out and she watched her husband collapse to the floor. At the sight of her dead husband she screamed out in grief and anger as she turned and jumped on one of the men. She began beating him with her fists, but was soon pulled off of him. She fought, but there were too many of them as they began beating her. They beat her until she had no fight left and she felt as if she would die. After that she remembers lying on the ground, staring at her dead husband as the men raped her and then left her to die from her wounds. She was found by an older couple who lived on the outskirts of town like them and often came to visit and trade with Zuya and her husband. They took her in and nursed her back to health, but unfortunately they couldn’t save her baby. She gave birth to a stillborn baby boy whom she named Enapay which means "roars bravely in the face of danger". She was heartbroken for a long time and Mr. and Mrs. Fraser worried if Zuya would soon fade away. One day she woke up with a new fire lit in her heart. She wants revenge and will stop at nothing until she has it. A year has passed since the death of her husband and child and now she’s out for blood. Weapons: She has a bow and arrows her father gave to her shortly before she was married and she’s been practicing silently taking things out with it. She also keeps a small dagger hidden on her person at all times so nothing like what happened before can happen again.
