Miren, Maoin, Sorcha, Sol.
Miren remained silent, not commenting on what was happening to Katherine and Meowka. It wans't her business, and she was staying out of it. Besides, Katherine was a bit scary when she was angry. "O-okay then." The rabbit replied, shaking her head and turning to the group. "A-alright everyone! It's finished now!" "I'll have a talk with this Chimaera later." Sorcha frowned. Well, it was good Maoin was alright at least, but she didn't like the fact this supposed Chimaera attacked her. She should be grateful the thing wasn't intentionally hostile at least. The venom was likely a precaution in case Maoin had been hostile. She gave Maoin a pat on the head, pushing her gently off of her. "For now though...I insist you eat something." Before she could drag Maoin over to the food however, Luna approached her with news of Marie. She didn't like Luna helping Marie, ever since what she did to Maoin the dragon had a made a point to treat the demon in a mostly civil manner...but she wouldn't be that upset if something happened to her. It was mostly the fact that the demon had betrayed her trust, really. Well, no matter. "...Be careful, Luna." Sorcha replied in response to where she was going after Marie. "If whoever is after her is still around then its likely they're waiting." The dragon turned back to Maoin. "Come, Maoin. Food is always good for the healing process." She began walking over to the table where Miren had seemingly now finished preparing it. "And yes, that is an order. Even if you do not eat much, I expect you to at least eat something." "Weh?!" The Wyrm gave a surprised sounding, though decidedly 100% adorable yelp as Sol pressed firmly on her forehead. She didn't get much room to complain or talk to Sol before the tiny human hopped off her back and grabbed her by the hand. Avaline was careful to avoid using her claws on Sol. Even in a resting state, they would have been harmful. She slithered over to where Miren was cooking with Sol. "Ah...?" Avaline listened intently to how the utensils were used, doing her best to take them into account. Honestly, knives and forks sounded just like pale imitations of her claw. The spoons, though. She held a spoon in front of her, eyes sparkling like she had laid eyes on the greatest thing in the world. "Tiny human this...Spoon, you said it was." She made the motion of 'eating' with it like Sol showed her. "Ahaha, this is the most amazing thing I've ever seen." She pulled the spoon towards her face, hugging it. "Ah, it's so adorable and useful! I can use it do drink things without going to the river!" She perked up, quickly taking a look around the camp. "A-ah! Where's master Luna? I must show her the wonders of the spoon!" ...Avaline was probably too easy to amuse. Marie, Luna.
Without the sun, the forest had become much darker. Shadows had grown long and Luna had walked far enough for the idle chatter of the camp to have faded into the night. Without her ability to make light, she'd very likely not be able to see very far. As for the target of her search, Marie seemed to be nowhere to be found. Or at least, she wasn't letting Luna know of her whereabouts. Perhaps she wanted to be alone? Perhaps she just didn't want to deal with Luna. Whatever the case was, it seemed that Luna wasn't going to find her unless the demon wanted her too. "... here's after my life." Soon though, she'd make out Marie's voice among the dark forest. She seemed to be talking to someone. "Scared? Please. That emotion is foreign to me." She scoffed. If Luna followed the voice, she would eventually find the demon hiding among the trees. "I want my arsenal." There was silence as whoever she was speaking to likely replied, but their voice wasn't able to be heard by Luna though it was likely Marie was talking to her mom or someone similar. "I don't care!" She snarled. "I can't rely on these pathetic humans to help me. No, rather, I refuse to let myself be so weak." Silence again as the second party replied. "...FINE! I've had to work with less. I don't need any more than that." After all - it wasn't like she was going to lose any fight anyways if she actually tried doing it. She was the absolute best at everything, after all. "Tsk...I hate that bitch." Marie growled. By now, Luna would likely make out two, feathery black wings jutting out from Marie's back, wrapping around her like a cloak as she seemed to study something in her hand. Before she could greet Marie however, the demon swiftly turned to face her. The human barely had time to react before there was a flash of bright, white light slammed into the ground in front of her. A spear had embedded itself into the ground, illuminating the area in an oddly unsettling light. It would have made most humans uneasy, at any rate. "Humph. It's you. And here I thought it would be whoever convinced that repulsive creature to attack me. Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" The spear of light embedded into the ground faded from existence, leaving nothing of its presence behind except scorch marks around the ground and a hole where it had just been. "What's the matter?" Suddenly, her mouth turned into a seemingly flirtatious smirk as she fixed Luna with a playful look. "Worried about little 'ol me? Scandalous. Won't your dragon be jealous? Not that I mind being the target of your affections, human. Feel free to grovel and tell me how great I am whenever you want." The two black wings fluttered for a moment before settling again.
