Aito and June watched Viral disheartened, surprised by just how emotional he was getting. They wanted to make it perfectly clear that what had happened was not his fault, that he wasn't blamed for it and was never wrong to begin with. Even having said that he seemed to be having difficulty accepting that fact, or rather just accepting what they were telling him in general. Understandably he was confused, as anyone in his situation would be. There seemed to be many more problems than just guilt plaguing the Beastman now, issues that Aito admittedly hadn't foreseen. Being his creation though and versed well enough in medicine he knew how to fix Viral nonetheless. "You probably can't remember any of it because your mind won't let you," Aito explained, lifting a hand to rub at his chin thoughtfully. "It sounds like you have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. That night, it's not something you want to think about, so your brain locked it away. Coincidentally it seems to have stored perhaps a bit more than that. Though I can't imagine why you would forget two and a half years just from a single event..." Vegeta Jr came up to the screen then, smiling nervously as he stood by Viral. It was odd seeing the Beastman so emotional, he never showed this degree of expression before, unless it was anger or annoyance. "I might know what happened..." he offered, looking at the screen. "After... It occurred the scientists had subdued Viral. Doctor Ikura was still there, he managed to get Viral to calm down and they put him into a pod, for cryogenic sleep. I'm guessing... Something happened while he was in there that caused memory loss. Maybe some kind of damage?" "Memory loss could be attributed to brain damage, no question about that..." Aito's mind was running at a hundred miles an hour now, trying to think things through on the spot. "The only issue with that theory though is with Viral's advanced healing he would have not kept the injury. Unless of course he was placed inside before the injury could be fixed. Unless we know precisely what happened to him before that fact then we can't say for certain what's causing it. And I can't quite come there and take a look at him..." "Wait! Doctor Ikura should still be alive, he was only your age dad. We can definitely track him down back on Earth and ask him, he should know. Maybe since he helped work on Viral too he can fix this for us." Provided that the RRA hadn't gotten to Aito's old associate they would be able to find him and ask for help. Assuming the man was still sympathetic to Vegeta and his case they should have no problem getting him to agree either. Smiling at Viral then Vegeta Jr set a hand on his friend's back, giving it a gentle pat. "We'll solve this, don't worry. Even if I can't do it we'll find someone that can." "As for your powers Viral... I think I can help with that as well..." Aito mused, smiling thoughtfully. "Your transformation is triggered by duress, as I said before. Considering what you've been through you're too tense, it's causing your energies to fluctuate uncontrollably. It's not unlike a Saiyan whose transformations can be triggered by rage, your emotions are strongly tied to your ability. So to regain control then you've got to become level headed, you need to stop berating yourself for all of your shortcomings and stop worrying that you're going to do something wrong again." Easier said than done certainly, but that was how it would become better. Once Viral could keep reign in on his emotions he wouldn't have to worry anymore. "Your powers are growing not because they're becoming stronger, it's because you're becoming stronger. Your abilities don't have an innate habit of growing, that's impossible. It's you who is more powerful. And once you're able to recognize that and be calm you won't have to worry about losing control." "Viral, you will get better, we know you will. And we'll try to be here as much as we can to help, we swear. But this isn't something that we can do for you, as much as we want to. It's down to you and your friends to make it right, and we trust that you'll all do just that." June smiled sweetly again at the Beastman, hiding her distress behind the smile. He really was like a son to her, and seeing him so distraught broke her heart. What she wouldn't give at that moment to simply give him a hug and tell him everything would be okay. On a reflex she reached out as if to touch Viral, her hand hitting the window and pressing flat against it like glass. Disappointed she drew her hand back, holding it to her chest with a sigh. "You have what it takes to beat this, son," June continued, blinking as a few tears fell unto her cheeks. "Just remember that mom and dad are watching over you even now, and we're rooting for you. I don't think anyone blames you for what happened, not anymore, and we all just want to see you be happy again. Go back to Earth with your friends, find Ikura, he'll make things right. And... You really should get used to calling Vegeta your brother... Because that's what he is." "Your little brother no less," Aito joked lightly, smiling at Vegeta Jr's embarrassed blush. "You two need to take care of each other now that we're gone, okay? So long as you've got one another things will work out, and that's not even to mention all the friends you've made. Never feel like you're alone Viral, or that you have to do everything yourself. There's always people there for you, for the good and bad." Vegeta, who had been quiet the majority of the time, gave a small roll of his eyes at Aito's last few words. Why had his family suddenly gone as soft as Kakarot's after his passing? Being more compassionate was fine, he'd become more that himself over the years. He had still retained his Saiyan demeanor, for the most part. His kin had become so human it seemed that they were scarcely Saiyan any longer, if only by birth. Even so, he'd be lying if said he didn't want Viral to get better as well. The man was a great warrior, it was a shame to lose someone of his caliber. And with all the trouble that Earth had been and no doubt would be facing they would need all the help they could get. Viral's home, Vegeta's home too, couldn't lose one of their greatest, not again. "I'm sorry we can't give you something more to help, Viral. Until you get back to Earth don't be afraid to ask someone for help, or let them help you. They care, that's all, and nobody is going to think of you less for it." Aito then looked to T'charrl, curious about the Kaesstrian. "You're the one keeping this up, yes? How are you feeling?"
