The one with the oversized hat, who had been here when she had first arrived, seemed to find the group was much too big for their taste, spouting off a rapidfire series of what she could only assume where 'hello's in a funny accent at everyone before saying something she couldn't quite catch and bursting into a tirade of laughter. Perhaps it had been a particularly good joke. Not that she would know even if she could've made out his words. Such an odd individual, that one. The other, Lydrim, was joined by a wolf and raven, presumably companions of sort, though of what kind was hard to determine. The wolf seemed rather disdainful of her, as well as those that followed after and made an exchange of noises with the black bird. The Zephyr seemed to take offense at that, practically sneering right back at the two animals. There was a bit of back and forth before the shifter in question seemed to have reached a decision and stepped forward, her body rippling, clothes tearing, until all that remained where she had been was a rather large snow colored wolf. Large for a wolf anyway, it was still nearly three feet shorter than Zephyr, though no less dangerous. Zephyr herself was largely impressed, however. For a moment it seemed as though the two wolves would go at it and she watched with avid interest before Lydrim called off his pet, and the other retreated and lay down, glaring at the lot of them. Zephyr spent a moment pondering what would be best to do in this scenario, it seemed there was a bit of tension in the air, which made sense with so many armed parties without clear intentions. After all, Zephyr herself was quite the imposing figure, towering over anyone here in height alone by several feet (let alone her wingspan) and fully clad in her traditional armor, the intimidating horns only adding to the effect. Furthermore the curved blade at her side matched by her bow and quiver at the other let no doubts as where her skills lay. Speaking of wings... A chirping noise was heard coming from Zephyr's folded wings. Soon it was followed by the appearance of a large black and white striped falcon carefully placing its claws on the her right pauldron. After making sure its new perch was steady it peered about with fierce black eyes, critically glancing over the assembly. It was clear that the bird was displeased with several of the gathered throng. "Yes, yes. It's alright," she murmured quietly to the bird, stroking it's head and beak. Zephyr's own wings flared forth to their full length for a moment with a whoosh and a snap of air being displaced, a mere stretch for her, but also a call for attention that was nigh impossible to ignore. Rather than focus on the individual peculiarities of the group, of which there were many, she addressed them as a whole. "I am Zephyr of the Singing Arrow, the new Sage of Fire, pleased to meet you all. I was summoned by Aether the Second to train for my new role. " She said confidently but politely, her voice effortless projecting through the courtyard as she preformed a general bow to those assembled. "We should all introduce ourselves and our intentions. And perhaps remember that not all customs exist outside of our homelands." Though it could have been said as a question, there was a commanding undertone to the her last sentence that would urge anyone to reflexively obey, at least for those not used to combatting authority. After all, if they knew each other's names and what they wanted, interactions should go much more smoothly. If things came to a battle then well, she would know what to put on their tombstones. With a slight shuffle of her wings, Zephyr walked over towards the shifter, bowing low. "I am honored to meet one of my namesake. I hope to know you better in the coming days." The falcon cawed in agreement. I've never seen her so tickled, you know, it said to Summer.
