We were a team; Almost like a family."
Name
Michael "Michie" Kenning Former Gamer ID "SplitzSpitz"
Gender
Male
Age
25
Ethnicity
Caucasian
Birthplace
Norman, Oklahoma
Former Life
Michie was a professional E-Sports player, specifically he played a shit ton of CS:GO. He came to Belgium to win a competition, not to get eaten. Fuck this place.
Gear
A nylon backpack A Spill-Proof Water Bottle (Currently half-full) 2 Extra Outfits A Pipe Wrench A Pair of Glasses (Though he doesn't wear them; They aren't his.)
Skills Before Apocalypse
Michie's PC-Gaming skills are utterly useless now, but he's still a pro. Considering he built his own Gaming PC though, he's actually pretty good with computers. You know what else his gaming habits improved? His hand-eye coordination. Immensely. His father was an handy-man, and that general know-how to fix things was passed down to Michie as he grew up. Michie isn't a shut in; He's actually quite fit. He's a fairly impressive track runner, and has good balance as well.
Skills After Apocalypse
Michie knows how to aim for the head, and is quite good at smashing walker skulls with his wrench. He's taught himself to set up safety measures to keep alert even while asleep: Rattling cans for noise, damaging floorboards and causing them to creak, that sort of thing. He can of course fortify locations too. His athletic traits have evolved into small-time parkour. Hopping across cars, close-by rooftops, and such. He has learned that being able to climb to high places can be helpful against mindless idiotic zombies. His in-game awareness has somewhat evolved into a real life trait. He keeps a close eye on ares around him, as to not get surprised by walkers, or survivors with harmful intentions. Evolving from just flicking a mouse for quick shots, Michie's reflexes have improved due to the apocalypse bringing him into situations where being quick can save your life. He's spent the last three years of his life constantly traveling, training, and competing in competitions; His team, BridgeBandits, is a mostly American with one Belgium player. After meeting up in person, the five players almost always traveled together: They became a bunch of brothers, basically. Considering each-other family as much as actual blood. Michie himself thought very fondly of his entire team, and that made the outbreak even more tragic for him. This year, the BridgeBandits went to Belgium for an ESL. They were all excited, Michie included: This was going to be a big event for them outside the US, and also be worth a lot of money to see it through to the end. Unfortunately, on the first day of the event, the outbreak had begun: Undead bastards invading the inside of the event building and eating a majority of the people alive. Panicked by these events, Michie grabbed what few things he had and got the hell out of there: He wasn't sure where he was running, but the less screams he heard, the safer he felt. He quit running only when he ran out of breath, ducking inside a small, luckily unlocked home. Only then did he have time to reflect and think about what he did; He ran off, without a second thought, leaving his friends behind. He considered going back, but could remember the blood, and gore, he witnessed as he bolted away: He didn't think many people got out... and told himself that if he hadn't of run away, he would have never gotten out of there, either. That didn't stop the guilt, though. He wasn't sure if anything could ever take the guilt away. Currently, Michie has decided to simply try and survive. He's seen a few of those zombies; They seem pretty dumb, as to be expected. He was much more quick-witted than they were; He could keep himself alive. Find people. Not be alone anymore. He hoped so, at least.
Other
Michie's favorite Rob Zombie song:
