Qualities: Name: Takyon, Death Yon, the Beast, the Dark Rider Character: Takyon is seen by many as madness incarnate, a primordial chaos, an inextinguishable evil. Utterly insane, he is possessed entirely by his fleeting whims and psychotic paranoia. With an inherent hatred of law and order at a conceptual level, Takyon is also an agent of upheaval and revolution, be they warranted or not. Despite the turbulence of his crazed mind, a purity exists to him; he is untainted and free from such "impure" concepts as morality, ethics and collectivism. He is a singularity of rage and destruction, standing alone to scream into the storm. His maddened ramblings are often merely misdirected implications toward deeper and darker truths. Even though he is the ultimate individual, a common motivation of his is to bring others to his level of delusion (or is it enlightenment?), merely as a means of introducing more chaotic vectors into the system that he despises. Flaws:

Takyon is an unpredictable, despicable creature. Reviled by all, save for his utterly deranged followers.
Takyon's madness often works against his goals, as his positions and motivations can invert rapidly and with no warning.
He is not immune to his own chaotic and destructive urges, as he is known to focus his madness inward, and against his own flesh.
Appearance: A dark-skinned man, average in height, with a wiry, sinewy build. His eyes are deep pits of hatred, shining from a face masked by a thick mane of wooly hair and an unkempt beard. A miasma of foulness surrounds him; a sheen of grease, blood and sweat, intermingled with the odors of vomit, gunpowder and drugs. Takyon is often bare-chested, exposing his many tattoos to the world (each one a dark and foreboding symbol of the occult). Otherwise his clothing comprises only a pair of black trousers and matching military boots, with the occasional presence of a dark, hooded jacket. Essence: Takyon is the avatar of sin, corruption and chaos, and as such can easily evoke these forces in others. Like a virus, he can inflict other with the seed of darkness and have them share in his mad inspiration. As is natural for an entropic force such as himself, Takyon can sense the presence of the dark forces with which he is most aligned in persons, places or events, past or future. It is a small feat for him to agitate and exaggerate these malgin elements, and instigate a cascade of destruction and anarchy. Emblem: To most, Takyon is dark prophet, an orator of evil, a demagogue of sin, a priest of blackest night. His voice is the siren call to which he calls the lost and malgin to his abyssal call, and his words are the most insidious of corrupting poisons. Relationships:
God: Takyon does not see God as the hated embodiment of the order of the universe, as one might expect. Rather, he sees God as an avatar of wasted potential. The ultimate cosmic power could be brought to create such great works of chaos that his mind reels at the idea, and yet God in truth is so tame and boring compared to what he could be. God is a lost cause by Takyon's reckoning; the only hope is to start over anew.
Stats: Ambition: 9 Combat: 3 Essence: 6 Cunning: ?
