So you don’t run this humble little shop by yourself then? I wonder what your grandmother will say about me.” He paused for a moment lost in thought of how he now had to remember to change his grammar when it came to the two of them. At the mention of the bus he broke his train of thought, “alright, remember to grab a warm coat it’s kind of chilly out there.” He called to her as he stood up and waited next to the front door. Victor turned back to the girl as she came back out wearing a big coat and a fancy hat that matched her clothes, “my don't you look stunning, yeah I’m ready to go” he said with a smile while he walked out the door and to the street. He waited patiently for the girl to lock up the door, double checking to make sure everything was off before she joined him. Their walk to the bus stop was quiet with only a bit of awkward conversation between them and when they were on the bus. At least he remembered to give the girl his cell phone number, so she could contact him when ever, pointing out that he didn’t know what his work schedule would be like yet. The bus trip was pleasant enough, stopping now and then as public transportation does, many of the other travelers looked all fancy and dolled up to enjoy the festival. Still, Victor tried his best to keep up a civil conversation with the girl mostly about current events or about the last few months of his life and what he did before security. Until eventually the bus came to a stop a few blocks away from the party and let everyone off. He smiled at her again as they followed the group of people down closed off streets full of winter kiosks and places to buy food and gifts, “this place looks good in the evening.” [@Poi]
