 Gideon was..... Early? No, that couldn't be right. Gideon Hirsoi was never early, not even for his own class. [color=MediumAquamarine][i]New month, new habits, I guess,[/i][/color] thought the bewildered teacher. His cat Nyga was at his shoulder, already mewling complaints in his ear. [color=MediumAquamarine]"Shut up,"[/color] he muttered annoyedly at the cat. The ball of fur just hissed at him and jumped on his desk.

 His hair was still a mess, his button-down shirt was still in its usual state of haphazardly buttoned disrepair, and his pens still hadn't managed to find their way out of his large brown leather messenger bag. Gideon did not really care about organising, but Nyga did. She placed the pens in his mug, then stalked off to go curl up in a chair somewhere. He almost felt bad for the poor kid who would find Nyga in thier seat. He [i]tsked[/i] slightly, then laughed. 

Gideon began writing the announcements on the chalkboard, along with a warning that Mr. Manilow didn't look like he was in a good mood today, and that they needed their textbooks today.

Amelia had managed to wrestle the brush through her hair, get through homeroom, and still show up to the field on time. Well, mostly on time, at any rate. [color=PowderBlue]"Good-" yawn "-morning, Mr. Manilow. How-" yawn "-are you?"[/color] She asked this as politely as she could while yawning the whole time. Jeez, she needed to get used to waking up at 7:50. It wasn't [i]that[/i] early. She hoped that she hadn't woken Jideh up with her shrieking at the hairbrush. Oh, well. She'd make pancakes for him tomorrow to apologize. And bacon. Unless he was allergic to pigs? Nah, that was unlikely.

She sat down and began to stretch, seeing no reason to strain a muscle during PE.
