[b][color=#C39BD3]Why You Were Recruited:[/color][/b] Robin's experience when it came to shutting down witches and other magic users was not just known by the hunting community, but also by O.M.E.N. agents. Additionally, O.M.E.N. later reopened the case of her parents' deaths, realizing that it had been a supernatural cause. With Hel's strong use of magic to bend reality, Robin's expertise may very well prove worthwhile. It caused her to be identified as a potential ally in the upcoming fight against Hel. Not many people have this skill set. 

As for her own motivations, it's rather simple: if Hel wins, it's all over. She became a hunter to ensure that no one else would ever have to go through the pain she did. She fights each day to protect people from those horrors that go bump in the night. To Robin, the only option she has is to fight Hel with everything she's got. The odds are stacked against them, but if they don't try to stop her, it's all over. Goodbye humanity. 

[b][color=#C39BD3]Life Before the Altsoba Massacre:[/color][/b] Robin's father was a first generation immigrant from Colombia who worked at an archery range in Nevada. Her mother was the daughter of the range's owner. They eventually married and had a daughter, naming her Robin after her maternal grandmother and Alejandra Karina after her paternal grandmother. They had a few more children after Robin, but she was always the star of the family. She was shooting at the range since the day she could lift up a bow. 

She won several regional competitions, before competing on a national level with the Recurve Junior Dream Team. Her life was perfect - great family, amazing talent, and kind friends. She taught her younger siblings how to shoot, eventually gaining the nickname Robin Hood at the range. It hardly surprised anyone when she was recruited for the Olympic Team her freshman year of college. She competed in the 2012 olympics, taking bronze in the individual event. 

Her grades weren't the best, with the rigors and demands of practice. Since she was an olympian, she couldn't even rely on an archery scholarship to get her through school. Robin amassed a fair amount of debt to get her biology degree, even causing her to consider at times leaving university and doing archery full time. It was her grandmother Wayne that convinced her to stay at college, claiming that even if she didn't use the degree, college was part of growing up. 

After she graduated from Arizona State University, she returned home for a little while. It was the off season and she wanted to spend time with her family. When she opened the door to surprise everyone, no one was home. All of the lights were off, the tables and chairs were overturned. Her mother and father were dead, with her younger siblings missing. The police determined that it was a robbery that escalated out of control. The explanation never sit well with her - especially when she found the hex bag tucked underneath the kitchen counter. 

Robin uncovered the truth: her family had been targeted by witches. She researched the information out there about witches and hunted down those who had harmed her family. They had kidnapped her siblings and luckily, Robin managed to help them escape. The witches who were responsible - well, they can't hurt anyone anymore. Her siblings were sent to live with her grandmother Wayne, while Robin left a promising career in archery to become a hunter. 

[b][color=#C39BD3]Life Since the Altsoba Massacre:[/color][/b] For a while, Robin hitchhiked around the country, partnering with other hunters that she trusted. She expanded her lore journal bit by bit this way, color coding it and using tabs for quick reference. Eventually, she made a reputation in the hunting community as a go to expert when it came to witches. Any case where witches were responsible, Robin was practically guaranteed to drop everything and help. She ended up reconnecting with her cousin, Mariana Garcia, and discovered that she had become a hunter as well. Robin prefers to work with family over strangers, so she's been working with her cousin on and off ever since. The two of them make quite the team.
