[@CollectorOfMyst] When you're factoring in both line of sight and movement it can get a little finicky and not be a square so much ^^ Like for example, from one position HH's pistol range might be this: [center][img]https://i.gyazo.com/06a45d0d3ee52b5d7eac477cd603dfeb.png[/img][/center] but if he decided to move three squares to see if he could hit the other tentacle: [center][img]https://i.gyazo.com/a3436b5da802d6d302ecab29fb6de259.png[/img][/center] the blue square shows that the void counts as 2 range. And this is before introducing things like cover which will come into play later at some point, and has different effects depending on whether you're right next to it or far away. so it gets a bit complicated, particularly if I was doing it for every character with different weapon ranges, and quite time consuming so I'd rather work on key bits for the moment.
