Markus was glad to see that Seymour relented. Surely, with more people on the case, the better the chance it has to be solved. As Leo and Seymour left, Markus told them, "Pleasant dreams." Markus himself stayed in the tavern for a short while longer- he'd already made arrangements for a room with Skarjaw, he just needed to get his key. As he sat alone in the room, Markus began thinking of what's to come as he finished the ale that Seymour bought him. Seymour seemed completely convinced that this was some sort of beast or monster's doing. Markus wasn't sure of that. People were disappearing, nothing more- there was no proof of anything else. It could be a person. It could be something supernatural. It could be nearly anything, with the amount of information they have. As Markus' ale became empty, he sat still for a moment or two, before deciding to retire. He approached the bar, and Skarjaw spoke before he did. "Ready for your room?" Markus simply gave a nod, and the bartender handed over a key. "Third on the right." "Thank you." Markus responded. With the key in hand he went to his room and enterted. It wasn't anything much, just a simple bed, nightstand and lamp. It was good enough. He placed his backpack and weapons on the nightstand and climbed into the bed. After extinguishing the lamp, he closed his eyes and tried to sleep. (I've made the adjustments to my CS)
