[@Xandrya] Hahaha, yeah.  Aprilias have pretty ridiculous riding heights.  It really depends on what brand you buy.  Most have aftermarket lowering kits or suspension that lowers the seat height a few centimeters.  My bike has a lowering kit.  It's still kinda high, but it's better than it would be.

If you're 5'0, I definitely recommend a small displacement bike like a 250cc or 300cc sportbike for starts.  If you really want to ride bikes, definitely go for it.  It is so worth it.
