Upon seeing the glare of Osaja's light from the corner of their eyes and hearing the burst of psionic energy their eyes snapped towards the Girafarig with fearful inspection. "Osajy-!" Rin paused. The wild pokémon looked . . . okay? It staggered backwards a bit, but otherwise looked pretty similar to how it had before Osajyin's attack. If Rin were a weaker person, they'd think this situation truly hopeless at this point. What could they do?! Now the Trainer didn't know if they needed to call Olotah back out due to his lower level, but then that risked the Girafarig running off, and there was also no guarantee that Olotah could get lucky again with another small attack, yet Osajyin wasn't exactly a safe option either! Rin pulled on their hair, and let out an incoherent rambling of frustrated growls. Osajyin could only watch his Trainer with apprehensive concern from afar. 'Should I . . . keep fighting, or . . .' If the Leaf Pokémon had proper fingers, he'd be scathing his head right now in contemplation. Looking back over at his "opponent" Osaja could tell he was probably half his level or so; not a threat. From just one look at the other pokémon, Osaja could tell this kid was definitely on the shy side. With those two facts assessed, he felt comfortable enough to sit down and wait for his Trainer to regain their composure. Hopefully they'd have a strategy, but if not? No bigger. Osajyin was perfectly content to just lay h- "Synthesis!" Rin looked like an absolutely ruined mixture of miserable and stubborn. They were on their knees, and pulling down the sides of their face which was marred with anxiety. Through all of this, the intensity in their eyes shined exceptionally bright as trying to inspire Osajyin with some specific, nameless goal in mind. Osajyin merely blinked in return. Rin's confidence faltered, and they fell to support themself on their hands as well their knees. "Please just do it before I change my mind." Osajyin didn't have the heart to even comment on the defeated sound in their voice. He may have only met Rin today, but everything about the aspiring champion told Osaja that that tone coming from that teen was the epitome of wrong. Instead of using his pokéspeak, the Leaf Pokémon lit up as confirmation. [@Balthazar007]
