It was filled with chilled venom. He purred to the X-men, casting a more charming smile to Wonderland. This was no longer Richard the reasonable brother nor Richard the charmer. No, this was The Adder, the deadly gun for hire, that wanted the information. Still he didn't reach for a weapon, he didn't need one. Giving Peitro a hurt look of mocking sincerity. "And you didn't care enough to remember about me? I'm hurt, 'Silver. I though those two tidbits might stand out from the get-go. But then you are getting some." He mocked, his voice a deadly velvet. "Really Wonderland. He forgot all about me, is that not just rude?' Richard called over his shoulder, to his ally. Then casting his gaze towards Nina and Ayita. The girl was not his concern. He'd let Lizzie have her at worse. At best, let her run home. She classified to him as a child, and he didn't see the reason to outright kill her. Though he had a suspicion that would be the only way to stop her if she wanted him Dead. With a capital D. "But really darling in the front. That information? Just give me a tidbit I can use and I'll make sure Wonderful Wonderland here doesn't kill you all- or mentally scar you past recovery." He chastened the eldest of the group. Hoping that charming smile conveyed to Wonderland that live victims later would be more fun. Then she would have time to tinker with how to best have her fun with them. After all, where was the fun if you rushed it? He wanted his information. Amber eyes glanced at the bars that now blocked their way. A trap, a cage, sprung. That was bad but worse, her eyes snapped back to the business looking man. The last name meant nothing, she had noted amongst her time at the Institute that people could share that. Baring her fangs in a snarl, she glanced between the man and the woman. She had caused this prison, but he was dangerous. The way he held himself, how he had responded to her attack. Still she would hold off the attack. Though not for much longer if the woman made a move or if he did. She felt the instincts roll with fury. A deep growl echoing from her chest, as she slowly stalked in a semi circle away from Nina and the woman. Moving to flank this 'Adder'. The name suited him, Ayita would admit. A deadly snake, for a man whose words were so utterly truthful sounding. She saw no reason to doubt him on what he said, but there was a deadliness to his voice. The female shifter did not care for it. Slowly, she reached down as she lifted one foot. Gripping the knife in a backwards grip and holding it so this strange woman could not see it. The Adder had moved as to keep all the X-Men in his sight. Even if it meant that he could only see them out of the corner of his eye. But he was not keen on letting anyone get behind him. As much as Ayita admired this- for her intent and purposes it was irritating. Her amber eyes narrowed to slits, he was a shifter. Adder would not just be his name- perhaps his form. Her mind already flipped through her known forms. She liked it not that a poisonous snake might be her opponent. One scratch, one bite. It would be bad at best. At worst? Death. Was she willing to die for humans? The answer was no. Would she bleed and fight? Yes, but it was for her own sake. She needed time and to keep this madness from coming into her territory. That wouldn't do at all.
