Arte was yelling, but she was always yelling, it should really come as no surprise. But the imp always seemed to be overreacting to harsh words. “Sure, don’t worry,” she told him. She should be out trying to find some wealthy customer. But the truth was she was tired from everyday routine and this, however dirty and disgusting, was a nice change. “Just don’t forget it was only the skinning that we agreed on.” She was left alone in the kitchen with Chris and dead squirrels. A charming company. Chris, not the squirrels of course. She smiled at him, sighing slightly. He surely was a handsome man. But he was just as poor as she was. And she wasn’t here to date handsome men, she was here to make money. Finally she was done with the last squirrel, she carefully washed off all of the blood from her hands. “The squirrels are ready for whatever you are planning to do with them. If you need any more help, ask Kric. Or send Arte after him,” she giggled, took off the dirty apron and left the kitchen. She frowned when she saw what was happening in the tavern. Two elf girls, obviously drunk to the point of almost passing out, were going around the other customers, stealing their drinks and sitting on their laps. She headed over to Joffrey, who was sitting at the bar with a customer, a big muscular guy with lots of scars. “What the hell is going on in here?” she asked Joffrey. “Oh, welcome to the Black Adder, sir,” she turned to the customer. “I am Lucy.” She gave him one of her best smiles.
