When Stella was born, the two were so enraptured by her appearance, and she was locked up in a small cottage at the top of an office building until they deemed her "beautiful enough" to let her free into the world of Pokémon.

As soon as she stepped out the front door, Stella fell in love with any and every Pokémon she encountered on the streets of Lumiose, which seemed okay at first, but she eventually tried to hug a Cacturne and pet a Muk on the same day. Her parents almost suffered a heart attack when she first expressed her interest in the Rangers, but they reluctantly settled to send her to Ranger School after her tutors intervened. When she was asked if she wanted to become a Trainer instead and win Gym Badges, she fervently shook her head, exclaiming that she vowed to never put any Pokemon of any size or shape under unnecessary pain. She has the spirit, but having absolutely no experience in handling Pokemon is an issue that she knows she has to get over. [/color][/indent]
