[color=8dc73f]Biography:[/color] One of the many children brought to Academy City by their parents' whims, Harumi never developed her abilities beyond Level 1, consequentially being ineligible for Tokiwadai, or any of the more prestigious schools there. It didn't matter to her much, considering she had already accepted the fact she could not get any better than she was already. Instead, she turned to journalism, and the newspaper club in her nondescript middle school. Unfortunately, she had a tendency to pursue more scandalous ([color=8dc73f]"Exciting, I'd call it exciting."[/color]) affairs and an even more unfortunate tendency to sensationalize([color=8dc73f]"Slight embellishments for flavour."[/color]) her articles. Eventually she was banned from her school's newspaper club AND banned from editing, publishing or submitting an article for a newspaper.

So she secretly turned to online journalism.

Under the pseudonym Mako10, Harumi works on and maintains an online news site by herself, focusing on mostly things she found interesting, ranging from restaurants reviews, gossip and information about local celebrities, to crime. Inevitably, she started to make connections all over the place, from a normal talkative girl at the local diner who's obsessed with urban legends, the bored guard with loose lips, to the Skill Out thugs who were willing to tell her juicy news for cash. Doing anything and everything she could, just to see that view counter tick up as more readers come to read her articles on her site. Not that she did all these openly; she wasn't supposed to be writing any more after all. 

One day, following a juicy lead about some boy double dealing on a tart over his girlfriend, Harumi instead, stumbled onto a dead body.

[color=8dc73f]Personality:[/color] A calm quiet girl, shy at times, that has good intentions at heart but bad at showing them. At least, that's what most who met her would describe her as. In truth, her calm and quiet exterior belied her true passionate self, her thoughts and actions usually attributed to a more adventurous sort. Her calm exterior was one enforced by normal niceties and manners, so one might be surprised to find out she was very capable of breaking into a compound, facility or home if she felt she needed to to pursue her lead. Nothing was sacred if it stood in the way of her getting her scoop after all. This does not mean that she was prone to spontaneous decisions however, as she values patience and caution greatly, being able to deliberate upon a course of action and act upon it without losing her head in the heat of the moment.

It does exactly whats it says. Anything she recently touches can be empowered to bounce off any surface without losing velocity. It works on surfaces as well, granting them the ability to bounce things off it. Objects that can be affected must be, at most, approximately the size of a basketball. Trying to put this on a surface like a wall larger than that would simply create a circular bounce area approximately 4 inches in radius(also approximately the radius of a basketball). This makes her camera unusually resilient considering she is almost always holding it, as she can toss it, drop it, accidentally kick it, and it will just bounce around unharmed. Truly a bane for those trying to stop her brand of journalism.

[color=8dc73f]Skills:[/color] Writing, sensationalizing an article, learning quickly, waiting for a shutter chance, gathering information, breaking and entering, improvising, making connections, having no concept of personal space, using connections, and unusual athleticism from the sheer need to climb, scamper and jump onto unusual places to break into places.
