Her beauty extends from the cascading, strawberry-colored hair that caresses her soft skin and only adds to her overwhelming frame. Though she may have lighter skin than both of her parents have, she more than makes up for it with the sparkling emerald eyes that dominate any room she’s in. Bright and cunning, they scan any room and demand that all attention is on her. Of course, this isn’t necessary because they are often drawn to her overwhelming height. In her defense, though, she only appears taller because she has near-perfect posture. She’s got the beauty, so she has to have the poise, too. Andrea’s fashion sense is always on-point. Whether she goes business casual, bold, or even puts on a pair of jeans, she pulls it off with limited difficulty. While it is true that her height gives her the challenge to find the right outfit, at the end of the day, if she wills it, she gets exactly what she wants. They look at how goofy he is and how refined and educated my mother is and wonder how exactly did a woman like Violet Banks, the son of Cameron Alistair Banks, the famed Real Estate Mogul, happen to fall for someone like Jackson Drake? Better yet, how did he manage to not only get her to say yes to a date but have two, beautiful children with him? Then I’ll tell you the story of an idiot who married up and a queen who found love in the most unlikely of places.” The love story of Jackson Drake and Viola Banks is a complicated one. Anyone who knows Jackson well knew that his youth wasn’t anything spectacular. The most exciting thing was that his parents had struck a gold mine with Leonidas’ investments and how he had opened over a dozen of garages by the time Jackson had entered high school. Because of this, the Drakes were able to move to a nicer neighborhood and Jackson had begun his fish-out-of-water experience among the rich and pretentious at Beverly Hills High School. Jackson was just a snot-nosed, punk-ass bitch who got into fight after fight. Either because he looked at the wrong person in the wrong way, said the wrong thing to the wrong person, or just liked kicking some poor, unsuspecting sap’s ass. He wasn’t a bully, but he loved fighting more than he did going to class. But after a while, Jackson had made so many enemies, so they ganged up on him. For months he would get his own ass kicked until the chance encounter by someone unexpected. According to Jackson, it was the seeming pacifist, Wesley Alexander Cross. Whatever happened in that moment(Jackson still doesn’t elaborate), this Wesley had helped Jackson out of the bind he was in. From that point until they graduated, Wesley and Jackson were inseparable. Even after Jackson had found Rhett Aspen and had developed a close, almost best bro-like friendship with him, he stayed rather close with Wesley. It was what kept Jackson going after his big fight with Rhett (”Daddy still never told me what happened.”) and since then, it was never the same. They repaired it later down the line, but it wasn’t for some time. In-between then and what happened afterward, Jackson was left in his despair. If it wasn’t getting shot down by his then-crush, Evelyn Harding. That with the loss of his best friend on the same night had driven Jackson to do the unthinkable: drive whilst drunk. As one could imagine, the ended up badly and had nearly cost Jackson his life. He only walked away with broken ribs. That one incident should’ve been his awakening call, but Jackson hadn’t learned. It would only take him five years before he realized the error of his ways. If only he learned quicker before it was too late. ”I’ve heard stories about Dad’s troubles. He said it was all apart of growing up. The fight he had with rhett, the fight with temptation and how one slip up cost him a friendship - it all was something he had to go through to become the man he is today. According to mom, had he not gone through all of those things, I wouldn’t be born. Even if true, there was a long list. Still, maybe they’re right. Maybe doing things you wouldn’t normally do was a requirement to reach your fullest potential. Or maybe they’re full of shit.” And as the tale of Drea hadn’t even been written yet, her beginnings truly start when Jackson went off to college. Due to his grades and a breathtaking recommendation from his Yvonne Cross, Wesley’s mother that he deserved a shot at a higher education. Maybe she felt bad for him after the shit senior year he had and that he deserved a fresh start. Maybe it was to satisfy her son so his best friend wouldn’t have to go to the same school alone. Regardless of the reason why she did it, the ends obviously justified the means as Jackson had won his ticket that served as his one and only way out of mediocrity and started college life. Countless times, Drea could recall Jackson telling her about the times he wooed her mother and she fell for him instantly. Viola had different accounts. She recalled their first encounter as something quite interesting. You see, Jackson hadn’t changed from high school to college. If anything, he evolved into a bolder version of himself. Where he messed up with Summer and Eve, he upped his game. Let’s just set the scene for you, okay? It’s the first day of his freshman semester as the University of Los Angeles. He and Wesley, though some of their focuses aren’t the same, had arrived together. Jackson was in high spirits and Wesley enabled his loud screeching. Two polarizing peas in a pod, yet they worked. One would allow the other to get hyped up as much as possible and when the time came, Wesley would calm Jackson down. But there was no calming him down when he saw, in his own words… “That’s the most bomb woman I’ve ever seen” Suffice to say that was the moment that he had decided he was going to do whatever it took to land Violet Banks. But this would be his biggest challenge yet. ”And was it ever. My mother has never been known to make things easy. Even today, she continuously puts daddy in his place. Granted, it comes from a place of love, he sometimes needs to be reminded that he can’t always act so crazy. Back then, however, was different. Still, to this day, I hear it from my relatives. They tell me that, of all the people my mom has dated or had some flings with, they never would’ve expected that she’d end up with Jackson Drake. Not only was he completely opposite of her, but many felt she was way out of his league. Of course, I don’t agree with that. I think my dad has a unique charm that only those who really know him can understand. Maybe that’s how he pulled in my mom. But I heard they didn’t have an easy journey.” Jackson’s infatuation with Viola, though to some it would appear to be an obsession, Viola never saw it that. If anything, she found it to be amusing. Constantly when Drea would ask about how it was for them, she described the beginning of their relationship to be an entertaining game of cat and mouse. She was the cat, of course, and Jackson was the ever-stubborn mouse. It had been often joked about in the Drake-Banks household that Jackson was quite the tenacious little shit. It had got to the point that Viola had given into his requests for one date out of pity. Unbeknownst to her at the time, that would end up being the moment that she saw a different side to this stereotypical fratboy that she had experienced on a daily basis. The start of the date had begun as Viola expected: they went to the mall and had themselves a teenager date. There were a few moments where viola had to pretend to have fun and then there were some rare moments where she had to pretend that she wasn’t having fun. It really was a bit confusing for her. It really wasn’t until a game of Skee-Ball did the date out of pity finally shift into something more meaningful for Viola. The highly competitive nature of skeeball and how Viola had dropped any and all notions of pretending to have fun for the sake of Jackson’s feelings and actually let herself go and enjoy the moment, did the two finally get to the point of showing each other just how much fun they really were having. And after Jackson appeared to be winning, Viola showed her trump card. Little did Jackson Drake know, Viola Banks was the ranking champion in Skee-Ball. She creamed him by leading over 200 points. And you can bet that Viola Banks let him have it as she bragged about the win, even as they went to the food court. Most men would have found their pride at risk or might have left Viola alone, but Jackson wasn’t most men. Viola began to notice that as they sat down and ate some food. She noticed his real charm - the charm that most don’t really see because they judge him before getting to really know Jackson Drake. He was considerate, a little too trigger-happy with puns, but Viola could recall feeling special. Jackson has this odd quirky, yet equally-loveable, personality. Viola had recalled genuinely smiling throughout their conversation. ”And you know what happened next, right? It’s kind of obvious. After a series of successful dates, they hooked up. Like, I’m not sure how more blatant I can be without spelling it out for you step-by-step. Bottom line, your’s truly was conceived. Nine months later, I was born and then began a rather complicated life for my parents. My father wasn’t even a sophomore in college, but my mom had graduated. Still, they seemed to make it work. He stayed in college while working and proving that he’s not only worth being a father to his child but being the kind of man that my mother deserved. Now, I know that they had their problems, breaking up here and there, but I think after my little brother, Felix was born, they stayed together. Well, there was also that Grandpa Cameron wasn’t about to let daddy go a moment longer without assuring him that he was in it for the long haul. So, in typical Jackson Drake fashion, he surprised my mother with an engagement ring. I really don’t know what else to expect. Dad goes over the top way too many times when he screws up. If you ask me, he should just stop screwing up, but regardless, this is what happened. They got married not long after that and, with their two children: my beautiful self and my idiot, little brother. Dad began a career in MMA until he was deemed unfit(AKA he got hurt too damn much that he had to retire) and started investing in local gyms until he was able to buy his own and grow it into a franchise of sorts. He called it Drake Dojo. Lame, I know. Meanwhile, mom was actually doing proper jobs by following in Grandma Eva’s footsteps and getting her feet wet in the Real Estate business. She got her real estate license before she was 28 and by the time she was 32, she was a partner at a prestigious real estate firm. I don’t know how she did it, but mom became majority owner of that firm in just three years. Her name and brand being advertised on billboards and buildBeverlyl over Beverly hills. Sponsors pouring in their cash and support for her business and even dad’s. At some point, we had enough money to have a permanent residence in Beverly Hills. And this was all before I turned fourteen, so I was able to start my life at Beverly Hills High the right way. And boy did it ever go swimmingly. But, let me just keep that a secret for now. Like, I get it: you want to make sure people understand how it is and make sure they can read basic guidelines. Fine, but don't expect anything more out of me. First off, there was this thing called The Unholy Trinity. I remember Dad talking about them from his days. He only had one encounter with one of these and that was who he called a mistake, Evelyn Harding(heard she's married to Alyssa Green Now, so guess that makes her Evelyn Green). And not counting her lover, there was another. This one, according to dad, was someone who was probably a lot scarier than either Evelyn and Alyssa put together. Her name was Audrey Huntsberg. The three of them were the Queen Bees of Beverly Hills High back in the late 2010s. Hearing about how they dominated it back then is inspiring, though, after high school, I guess they all forgot about each other - well, Audrey forgot about them because none of her daughters seem to be in who rule the halls now. Neither Ariana Mossos nor Briella Mossos make up what is called H.O.T. No, instead you have Hailey, Ophelia, and Trixie. Makes you wonder who really got the short end of the stick, huh? Oh well, mom says not to let it bother me. I'll be at the top at some point. Just have to bide my time. The next agenda on the list is to describe what the candies are all about. That seems to be in the eye of the beholder. One might say love is the true purpose of a candy, while some might say it's to be a damsel in distress for whomever that high above deem worthy of their looks. If that's the case, then things are about to get shaken up. I might be a candy right now, but the last thing I'll be is someone's doormat. If anything, they'll be my doormat. Oh, don't worry, Daddy D, you'll always be my special little doormat. And finally, the Elite. Dad told me about them too. Apparently, they were a group of wild, fratboy wannabees. I cant' tell if they did that on purpose or they couldn't help it. Dad said they were led by some guy named Bryant O'Connor and they swept Rhett from his grasp. I don't know how much of it Dad told me, but I think there's a lot more to the story that he doesn't want to admit. Anyway, the spirit of the Elite seems to be passed down to Bryant's son, Damian. I just hope I don't have to deal with them too much. I'm already getting a headache thinking about it right now."
