Diana Schwarzwald
9:10 AM Gym Class [@Spriggs27]
If there was one thing Diana had almost wondered for a moment at all now, it was this:
Did this girl think she could just throw out a paltry slap, starting mouthing off, and expect her to just sit there and wait for her to try to use her powers in retaliation for some projected attack?
Of course she did not wait for the other girl to really finish speaking when it came down to it. As soon as the slap was done and the other girl began mouthing off even more, Diana decided "fuck it" with her threat of not using her power on her. Channeling her anger at the situation, her face wrought with the stoic steel of restraint in her expression of emotions in that manner, Kris would perhaps come to notice a jet of flame that shot out right from the end of the angered teen's fist, the same fist that even now still held this "ice princess" up by the collar, which was aimed towards Kris' face without any moment, yeah not even an ounce of hesitation on Diana's part. Hot, searing flame, spewing out in an instant in a sudden jet of fire, fire that which would seek to lick up all in its path, fire that could perhaps up the waters, fire that.....well, in this case was actually not the strongest, but was meant to be strong enough to be fully to set the other girl's hair ablaze and maybe see if a jet of fire in her face would finally put an end to this with some minor burns and a flaming head to boot. Even through the slap and words and such, Diana had not let go of Kris' collar, and indeed had not let go of hefting her off of the ground. That brief burst the other girl had made back at her verbally and physically had not shaken her resolve, though admittedly the anger was getting the best of her despite her own now rather stoic appearance facially. There was no talking back on Diana's part, no move to try to be witty about things, no attempt to let the other girl finish speaking after that slap that, in Diana's mind, would allow the ice user more time to prepare for what came. Simply put, she attacked without thinking for a moment about the actual consequences of it, unleashing her fire pure and true from the end of a fist, without word or the pomp and circumstance this girl seemed to try to use her powers with from the looks of things. No hesitation, but simply an unleashing of channeled emotion, and an ironclad stoic face that concealed a forge of somewhat active yet still rather latent fury underneath to some extent.

Leanne Hillcrest
[@Rune_Alchemist][@Spriggs27][@Kalleth]
9:10 A.M. Gym Class Though having attempted to not be involved, to sit there with Eir and try to avoid the..."drama" going on right now, Leanne was shocked as one of the far more athletic girls, Diana if she had the name right, hefted up the icy girl and leveled more than a small threat at her of brute, physical punching if she didn't quit her behavior. To be honest, it was something that the hoodie-wearing teen, who was in gym clothes in this instance whilst sitting on the grass, had to admit was.......not an unfamiliar thing that had popped into her minds in days past. When everyone treated you for the worst, adults, peers, and even some fellow elementalists around who all seemed to care more about a dead attempted-kidnapper just because she could control a taboo within a taboo, eventually such thoughts would work their way into someone's head, no? Even if she had worked against them, they had been there. The dark ideas, fueled by the thought of just lashing out to end it all, feeling fed up and angry about life, about people, about her own parents, about them all. Indeed it had been scary to think on just how close she could have been to doing something more than a little regrettable, just by just pulling away that thin barrier that separated actions from simple thought when she had been feeling at rock bottom about everything, that temptation to pull down the layer of self-control her grandmother had helped her develop just tantalizing when at her lowest points this far in her life.... And yet....as she saw the flame begin to shoot from the fire-user's hand..... "MR. MANILOW, GET OVER HERE NOW!" ....she reacted with her true feelings on the matter instinctually, not hesitating at all. The words, a notable plea for help, roared out of her mouth as a strong shout, not a shriek nor cracked tone to be heard from her whilst her resolve and firm willpower on this took hold. She shouted at the top of her lungs in the shivering teacher's direction with the intent to get him over here. NOW. All to help stop this situation before it further escalated to someone actually getting hurt. But this was not all she did. Without thinking of her own perception by the other students, her powers at the same time as her own shouting simultaneously lashed out at the situation at the Darkness-element user's behest. Focused wholly on stopping the start of this fight, or at least to interrupt it until Mr.Manilow could get there, originating from the shadows of Kris and Diana would arise a sudden, thin but wide wall of palpable, solid darkness that jutted up between them like a spike erupting from the earth. And indeed, the wall would separate the two and block their visibility of each other entirely, actually breaking the athletic Diana's grip as some bit of flame from the girl's fist came into contact with it due to its sudden appearance. The sudden action caused Diana to seem to pause in place, perhaps in a thoughtful manner, yet still as stoic as could be, the ebon black wall of darkness blocking her sight of her prey much to Leanne's relief. Though as for Kris herself, she had no idea if the sudden flames, which had caught Leanne herself by surprise without seeing how much had come out by the time the wall went up, had if at all hit the ice princess whose attitude disgusted even Leanne so. But at the same time, she couldn't stomach this sort of crap happening when it didn't have to. It....even if she could understand more than a little bit the disgust for people like Kris deep in her own gut, it was just not right at all to attack someone in cold blood like that out of the blue, pun not intended, and she would stand by that. To see something like the darker things she had felt made manifest, she couldn't stomach it in all honesty. And...she didn't want someone else to make that same mistake, if she could help it. However, in the process of her getting up to shout and put up that wall, Leanne had manged to bite her bottom lip a bit more, which as she shouted caused some blood to be unintentionally spit forwards onto the grass in front of her. Luckily she was not getting blood on any others, but...even so, it was not the nicest looking thing right now. Unfortunately, she did miss what Eirwen was saying, her own agitation at the situation boiling over and culminating in her actions. She was not trying to be mean to Eir, but....this matter had struck a sort of chord with her, not exactly a good one that brought on positive feelings, but one that she felt spurred on some sort of action as a result.
