From 11-18, he was an apprentice blacksmith.
From 18-26 he was a sniffer (he was a sniffer for "eight long years")
From 26-30 he is a vampire (so four years roughly, Morgan has a been a vampire).

As far as his travels, I think Morgan wouldn't have moved too much. If anything, he's probably spent his time moving from city to city, as it is probably easier to hide in the vast sea of humanity than out in the wilderness where "real" blood is hard to come by (and death by the same source is more noticeable).
