He weighs roughly 213 lbs, maintaining a physical yet slim look through exercise and trying to beat up a Krogan. His facial features consist of light blue eyes, a head of long rugged hair and an even more rugged looking beard, both of which look barely groomed as well. Frederick sports no body markings, however his back beats a singular large scar from a bullet round bag just graze his back. His casual wear does a good job of covering the scar, the clothing usually being a pristine white shirt tucked into some of the standard pants that the Initiative has.
Background:
Born on 2149CE on the planet Luna, Frederick grew up in the bartering slums portion of society and not a credits using one, quickly becoming used to having to trade a valuable or service off to recieve something. Unfortunately, Frederick lived in an impoverished family, not having many things to trade away for food or any other necessity that they needed in life. That meant that Frederick needed to develop a skill, a good one in order to aid his family. At the age of twelve, the kid took up a technicians work, fixing things, albeit small scale things, and the trade quickly grew on him as he became more experienced. Again, just with the small things, clocks, toys, other miscellaneous scrap. He used tools which he bartered for with whatever he had, stole, or just outright begged for. Being able to fix anything, though anything to him was some junk combined with instructions of the extranet, break them down to their smallest components and build them back up, was a very lucrative trade and for many years he got away with it. However, this only got him so far on his home planet and once he left to do some work elsewhere, he was ill prepared for the credit-based life that the rest of the galaxy had to offer. Yet, his trade kept him afloat for a good while, allowing him to learn more and more about the inner workings of ships, guns, really anything that was crucial to life. The young, fifteen year old him quickly made somewhat of a name for himself, mainly as a techie. Though something extremely rare in his society happen, he was a biotic. The discovery came when some men showed up at once of his jobs and told them that the alliance required him to go with them, it was Conatix Industries. The company had managed to locate him through witness accounts of the young man using biotic abilities, albeit subtle, while he was deep in concentration. Frederick always thought it was a trick of the eye from working so hard so he paid it no mind at the time. His mother and father had no clue on how this could have occurred, however, it was identified that it was from starship accidents that exposed the pregnant mother to element zero and while he did not display biotic tendencies as a child, there was clear evidence that it was there in his young adulthood. Thus he was recruited into the short-lived BAat aboard Jump Zero. Training was brutal and slow at Brain Camp, as he once broke his arm and fractured some of his ribs while he trained there. Furthermore he was starved and sleep deprived by the Turian mercs that had been hired to train them, yet the training worked for Frederick showed ample improvement over his biotic control. Unfortunately, the project was shut down and Frederick was forced to keep quiet under government supervision. He was twenty when the project ended, leaving him unknown of what to do other than to go back home to his family, but that was not what he wanted in his life. Instead, he became a nomad, wandering space to attempt to find some purpose in the galaxy, not wanting to serve the Alliance after he had been abused by the mercenaries that they had hired. He managed to convince a crew and its captain to let him travel with them in exchange for his services as a repairman. That was when Frederick came across the Citadel, the home area of the council. He was merely there for supplies, not wanting to stay on the station for too long given the tension between humans and other council members. Yet, it was there where he would meet one of his best friends, a Korgan by the name of Raik Skarr. It was a standard repair job for him at first, putting a weapon back together. That changed when the two were confronted by an enemy of Skarr’s, Frederick still does not know the context of why the two disliked each other but quickly violence erupted. The Krogan and his gang tried to assault Skarr, the person who was paying for Frederick’s services. The human jumped in, using his own biotic abilities to keep any Krogan who attempted to attack at bay. The two dispatched the opposition quickly, and quickly developed what could be called a friendship. Though it was more Fredrick joining Skarr in the mercenary business than anything else, but the two did become brothers over time, serving in many missions together. Frederick had joined because he wanted some excitement in his life, something fun to remember other than the torturous memory of the BAaT. Once the Krogan actually saved Frederick’s life, a bullet that grazed his back almost killed him through blood loss. Yet, Skarr quickly got the man to medical care essentially saving the man from certain death. The experience changed Frederick, however, and he abandoned mercenary work yet kept in good contact with Skarr. Instead, Frederick did resort to serving the Alliance as a technician and a soldier in a crew who hunted the occasional pirate who threatened trade. It was not his first choice of work, but he had learned to forgive the Alliance for the BAaT incident which had lead him to them. It was then that he learned the intricacies of starships and more advanced weapons, unlike most he had ever seen even as a mercenary, included in that was combat training which he probably could have used when he was a merc but he refused to admit that. All of it was a few boring years of work yet the work got him recommended for the Andromeda Initiative due to his skill in repairs and maintenance, opting him to join in order to leave all the bad memories behind him, to run away. Frederick told Skarr of the trip before he left, not wanting to go radio silent without allowing his best friend to know what happened. However, with some convincing he allowed himself to wait for Skarr to get approved to come with him, for security reasons of course. Cryosleep was a strange experience for him, waking up was even worse as it did not exactly agree with him. He was there to do routine repairs, maintenance, etc. However the scourge came along, complicating a lot of things for him as he was needed to do more and more repairs. It was a living hell at the time, panic and disarray, and all he could do is try to fix the bloody mess, that was all he knew what to do at the time. Once that problem seemed to be solved another came along, the mutiny, he fought on side for the Initiative, not wanting to abandon the mission that he had chosen to undertake. Using his biotic skills and Alliance training he aided the Initiative a decent bit, earning the attention of some of the APEX members. This dedication, and his technical expertise, earned him a spot on APEX once Ryder had established the colony of Podromos. Such is life.
Personality: Frederick is someone who follows how he feels and lets that control what he does rather than truly think things out. He very much trusts his gut, never would he go against it. Stubbornness is also a key attribute of this man, unyielding in his ways and having an outright refusal to do something he would never do, unless he has a change of heart which can occur over time, such as his eventual forgiveness of the Alliance. That said, he does have his nice moments where he will go out of his way to help someone that he calls a friend. Friendship is a hard thing to earn from Frederick, it takes time for him to trust others enough, even longer so for Turians given the abuse from one. Furthermore, Frederick is most comfortable around machines, knowing that they can be fixed and improved much like himself. He cares deeply for the maintenance of the Nexus and would rather see die than to see it being damaged. Additionally, he loves a good drink, typically something strong that will lay him out the next morning. This is typically to help him cope with the pain of his L2 implant. He likes to face his problems head on. Reason for being awoken from Cryo (Specific jobs, skills, and Initiative Application):
Frederick was awoken from Cryo before most others, before the scourge, to do routine checks on the Nexus, being a key technician in making sure everything runs that way it should be and WHAT IS THAT SCRAPING SOUND CLAIRE?!
Equipment:

Initiative Spearpoint Armor Set
Carnifex
M-8 Avenger
L2 Biotic Amplifier

Powers:

Throw
Shockwave
Singularity
Energy Drain
Invasion

Font Colour: Orange
