This was easily the most awkward family dinner Morthos had ever been a part of....well there was that time with his uncle but that wasn't nearly as bad as this. Morthos just kept his mouth full of food and didn't say anything, he really didn't want to get involved. Then Jax left him alone with her parents, which was even more awkward than when she was fighting with them. Luckily they didn't try to talk to him, the both just seemed kind of dumbfounded by everything that just happened. Luckily Jax wasn't gone long and came back to ask him how dinner was, [color=red]"it's good, in my hometown deer is kind of a delicacy, so this is really nice to have."[/color]

Morthos spoke in a friendly tone but he put one of his hands under the table and did a flourish to cast ghost sound directly in Jax's ear so only she could hear. Just two simple words in a fairly serious tone, [i]Talk. Later.[/i] He gave Lenora a friendly smile, [color=red]"I believe I'm supposed to say my mothers cooking is better, but this is very good, thank you for the meal."[/color] He may have been feeling awkward but Morthos still had his manners, and the meal was very good. It also helped that his mother never cooked a whole lot but no one needed to know that.
