If the sinkholes and whole earthquake-ish thing happened to Eden, at least they would have been on more equal footing; confusion. But if Thana was right, the likelyhood was that they were taken off-guard, but not in a deep hole. And here they were going on the offensive. 

Then again, if a surprise attack by a inferior force had worked in 'Nam, who was to say it wouldn't work here?

Alexander gave a reminding look in the mirror to Thana as she asked who 'They' were. [color=662d91]"Eden? As in those guys that gave your people a beating?
