[@shylarah] Also, I've kind of hinted at this in Rodion's prologue, but T'sarae as a nation has never been particularly religious. There has only ever been one church in Cero, and so historically, T'sarae has never had warpriests or anything resembling the Varyan or Lanostran inquisitor. They did have a clergy, but they never actually held sway over the governance of the country like they do in other nations. These clergymen were the ones put to death by Varya after T'sarae surrendered, and due to their lack of influence, it wasn't really a huge deal. As for Muraad, it's always been a fractured land where different clans ruled over separate territories. Over the centuries, there have been "chieftain" figures who've managed to unite the clans, but their reigns never lasted long enough to be of historical note.
