[@Hallion]With a few exceptions, namely the Vs'ks'thi aliens, who have no natural talent for it but can learn to do some basic things, and the Nulls, who are unable to use any magic except magical items. The Watchers rarely learn it, as it isn't part of their culture, and the angelic races consider it blasphemous unless it the very specific "El gave me a special ability" form of sorcery. Just don't go too crazy with your other magics, and remember that you would need to have spent a significant amount of time to get very far. High Schools in New York teach basic witchcraft, sorcery, and Ki as electives, but they don't do anything too advanced. Witchcraft tends to be the slowest one, as rituals are the most efficient way to do it. Sorcery is taxing on the body and may take time to gather large amounts of energy, especially if you draw power from a sapient being that resists you. Ki is fast, but far more limited. It also doesn't allow you to become nearly as powerful as the other forms, as it is limited by your own stores of energy, like your powers are.
