Hello, thanks for dropping by! I used to be active on here, but had to drop off for a few months. Now I'm looking to get back into a few games. So, rules and stuff: I consider myself a high casual/low advanced roleplayer who usually writes between 2-5 paragraphs. I can write more if I get excited and would ask that my partner match me - I really appreciate someone giving me something to respond to; if you only dash off 2 or 3 lines, then we're not going to be a good match. I’m reasonably literate but nobody’s perfect, so I’m not going to be a grammar nazi. So long as your post’s in legible English, we should be okay. Oh, and please only write in third person past tense – any other style drives me mad after a while! I can take either male or female roles (I think I have a 50/50 split between my characters) and am happy to double. That said, I would really appreciate a partner who's happy to play the male/dominant character every now and then; I usually end up taking that role and while I don't mind, I am in fact female and would like to play that part every now and then! That said, I'd have no problem playing a submissive male character dominated by a female one, so if that's your thing then feel free to PM me. I turned 18 years ago, and would prefer any potential partner to be too – no offence to anyone younger, but I don’t want to be having to constantly re-checking everything I post to be sure it’s suitable. Swearing, violence and sex are a part of life, and while these aren’t PWP (well, most of them :)), I generally don’t fade to black unless you ask me to. I have the usual taboos with relationships in game: no incest, underage, necrophilia, bestiality or toilet play. Anything else – ask. I’m happiest with fantasy or supernatural horror RPs – I have to live real life, so don’t want to play it. Real life does come first and I’m not expecting several posts every day; I'll try to put up a post every two or three days; if I'm not going to be on for several days I will do my best to let you know in advance. All of these ideas are up for tweaking and gender flipping I love world building with people, so feel free to toss ideas in! If you're interested, please send me a PM: if you reply to this I might well miss it. If you've looked at any of these before you may notice I've added 'more info' to some of them; that's because I've had more background ideas for them and didn't want to dump it all on a potential partner without warning. It's all subject to change if my partner would prefer. I’ve probably forgotten something, but onto the plots: Fantasy
A rich merchant’s daughter inherits control of her father’s trading empire when he dies. But after several ‘accidents’ she’s sure someone’s out to kill her and can’t get anyone to believe her. Even though she and her father were against the slave trade, she decides to buy a slave bodyguard as only their magically-enforced loyalty can be guaranteed. She promises that when they find the murderer and she’s safe she’ll give the slave their freedom and whatever else they desire (more ‘mature’ version of this could be that the slave-bodyguard wants her as a mate – possibly there’s some sort of ‘taboo’ against this, due to the slave’s race or gender).

A thief breaks into a wizard’s house to steal an item while they’re away. They’re caught in the act by the wizard’s apprentice, who casts a spell of binding to try to keep the thief imprisoned until their master gets back, but something goes wrong. The thief manages to escape, but both the apprentice and thief fall sick until they’re brought together again (either the thief returns or the apprentice and their master come and find the thief). It seems the spell has somehow bound the thief and apprentice together so they can’t be too far apart from each other without becoming seriously ill. The master can’t break the spell –he explains that if he cuts it the ‘ends’ of the spell would lash about and probably kill them both. The pair have to travel on their own to the wizards council (the master won’t come with them as it seems like a perfect journeyman quest to give their apprentice full master status) to have the spell broken, and no doubt have various adventures along the way.

In a fantasy world at war two members of the army are cut off from the retreat and have to try to make their own way back to safety - maybe on the way they discover some information about the enemy that makes their safe return even more imperative. I see these two as being from completely different divisions that don't have much time for each other: for example, a cavalry officer and a ranger-scout or an infantry captain and an elemental sorcerer assigned to his troop. [More information]My idea is the enemy have new allies - a race of human-looking people with magical powers that have never been seen before - powers that seem to affect the mind. They have to get back to warn their own side about these people or they will simply be crushed underfoot.

There’s an academy in a fantasy realm where wizards and warriors are trained and partnered with each other in a mystic rite. When the academy is attacked and the majority of the staff and students either killed or captured, only a young sorceress who refused to take her final tests of mastery after her master was killed and a retired swordsman who’s returning to surrender his sword to the weapons hanging in the hall are left free. They have to swear the rite that’ll bind them together to stand any chance of defeating the bad guys (if this becomes a romance, there’s an age difference between the characters). [more information] I have quite a bit of information about the plot and background in my head - background: when a fighter/wizard pair are joined by the rite, they both benefit by being able to draw on the others strengths: warriors can loan some of their strength and endurance to the wizard, the wizards can offer the warrior some protection from magical attack. It also creates an empathetic bond between the two: some are so close it's similar to telepathy. When they're bonded these pairs ride around the kingdom carrying out the king's justice. The two that are considered the most powerful are charged with acting as bodyguards to the king. A minor point: all Guild members, when they swear the rite and leave, take on a new 'use-name': these names are usually based on their talents or looks or just the natural world: names like Blaze or Storm or Hawk, Wolf, Thorn, that sort of thing. plot: my plot is that the king has just been killed on a hunt - was it an accident or murder? the crown prince has been accused of murder and has been forced to flee - the queen (the king's second wife) has claimed she is pregnant with the king's child and will rule with her chief advisor as regents for the child until they reach their majority (so, for about 20 years). Owing to the academy's historical ties with the royal family a company of guards are sent to arrest the masters and students, but things go badly wrong.... and this is about where our RP starts.

When the kingdom was annexed as a vassal state to the Empire, a young assassin was dispatched to kill the former soldier that the Emperor had appointed as a governor. She tried to worm her way into his household, but his staff and guards were fanatically devoted to him. Finally, in desperation she disguised herself as a minor noblewoman to penetrate his inner circle – particularly as he was known to have a fondness for women of her type and might well be tempted to take her as a mistress. Too bad she didn’t anticipate falling in love with him.

The princess of kingdom A is due to marry the young king of kingdom B in an arranged marriage. The marriage is due to take place in two days when the soldiers of a third kingdom attack. As the two kingdoms were under truce they had few guards and the princess is kidnapped. When the dust settles the young king and the princess half-sister, the king’s illegitimate daughter, are the only two in a fit state to give chase. Sending a wounded soldier to rouse the guard, they set out after the kidnappers and come to know each other on the way – and perhaps fall in love.

Two old adventuring rivals ('m imagined them being thieves, but that can change) pit their apprentices against each other in an insane quest to recover an ancient artefact from the ruins of an old city. The pair are aware of the traps and dangers in the city itself, but they weren’t anticipating the arrival of a third foe that forces them to work together.

Over a century ago greedy immigrants dug up one of the holy sites of the native people, the khalahashi (think Native American elves), in search of gold. Their action destroyed the sacred seals on the place and released the evil that had been contained within. Now horrors walk the night once more: the blood drinkers and the ones that will not stay dead. An uneasy truce between the natives and settlers has been in place since, as they are both threatened by this evil. A young half-khalahashi woman has inherited the shamanistic powers of her native grandfather, but needs to travel to the tribal lands of her mother to complete her training. When the khalahashi brave protecting her is too badly injured to continue, she must take a settler fighter with her for protection – one of the powerful lords of the fangs has vowed he will make her his, and will stop at nothing to claim her. Can a gunman and a half-trained shaman make the journey to safety?

Legend claims the royal family were descended from the gods and that was why magic ran in their veins. Two centuries ago, a knight was turned by a vampire. When the former knight killed the crown prince the magical blood they drunk had two effects: he was cured of his bloodlust and he could withstand the light of the sun. The queen judged the penitent vampire-knight. Rather than order his death, she decreed he would serve the royal family to repay them for his crime. He agreed, and so it was the vampire-knight swiftly became the greatest secret and most loyal servant of her line. More info: I had the vague idea this would feature the vampire-knight serving as a bodyguard/escort/whatever to the princess. She would either be getting married or there'd be an attack and she'd be forced to flee with the vampire-knight. Or if she's really unlucky, she could get married and then have her new husband attack her old country, forcing her to escape him and rally her people to fight against him. We can sort this out between ourselves. The only other point is the magic of the royal family: I imagine the princess has one 'superpower' if you will - maybe she can speak to an animal, or control fire, or heal people super-fast or whatever. This is something else we can discuss.

Very vague this one, but I would really love to do some sort of Indiana Jones/Mummy idea with a female airship pilot and a male rogue type character like Jonathan from the 1990's Mummy films, because I think he's great. I'd happily play either of these roles.
Urban Fantasy
A young woman with an artistic talent runs away from home, fleeing her abusive stepfather. She rents a room in a big old house (or breaks into an apparently deserted house) and gets a low paid job to make ends meet while working on her art (whether that be painting, music or whatever we’ll decide in game – perhaps it’s a sort of magic, something else to work out). She discovers the other tenant (and owner) of the house, a reclusive older man by accident (I’d like him to be a supernatural guy – magician/necromancer, vampire, were – something of the sort). The two start a tentative friendship and gradually become closer. But the stepfather’s been looking for his runaway ‘child’…

A group of vampire hunters are killed by their prey in a botched attack. A young novice hunter is impulsively saved from dying by a vampire – he feeds her some of his blood and she inherits a little of his increased healing ability, saving her life. She recovers and continues her normal life, but her drinking his blood has created a mental link between them (if she concentrates she can sense his location and some of his thoughts – and she guesses he can do the same) and she has some very explicit dreams about him. She’s disturbed by the thoughts and feelings these dreams raise and she wonders if she should seek him out – and if she does, will she kill him or kiss him? Meanwhile the vampire is likewise distracted by his thoughts and wonders why he saved her – because she half reminded him of another woman he knew once a long time ago? He wants to see her again but how wise is that, with her being a hunter? Other vampires insist he should either complete the bond between them and make her his human servant or turn her (because having her being able to find their location through him is making them nervous) but he’s not sure he wants to force her into anything and have her possibly hate him for it.

Humans have fought the vampires for the earth and mostly lost. The vampires are ruling the remains of decimated cities - many humans have been rounded up and penned in 'farms', although many humans are still running free in the ruins. Of the free humans, a rebellion movement is in full swing. The MMC is a human trying to survive in the remains of a town, scavenging during the day. He finds a young woman unconscious; although she's clearly been badly beaten he takes her back to his sanctuary and does what he can for her. When she regains consciousness she seems well enough physically but suffering from complete amnesia - she can't remember anything about her life, not even her own name. He takes her with him and they both set off to find the resistance movement and encounter danger on the way. More information: My idea was that she was regarded as a traitor by the resistance: she was one of the humans that helped the vampires originally. Can she be trusted or will she betray them again? I imagine this will be bordering on horror and quite heavy on the action - I hope so, anyway!

In a modern setting where the supernatural creatures lurk in shadows, two previously warring species (typically werewolf and vampire) find their truce at risk when members of their species start to go missing and a couple are found dead a few days later. Unless something is done, war will break out. The real culprits are a cabal of sorcerers (or scientists) who are experimenting on them in an attempt to find out how to obtain their powers. A young werewolf and a fledgling vampire (or whatever) are captured by the sorcerers/scientists but have to escape and warn their people before an all out slaughter occurs (which the sorcerers hope for, as picking off individual vamps/weres will be much easier in the carnage). But even if they can convince their people of the truth, they still have the sorcerers to deal with; and of course, this is when their experiments finally succeed...

A shy girl/bad boy meet – after the apocalypse.
Others (18+ I'm hoping for quite a bit of smut, but still some plot)
(This would need quite a bit of work as it's just a vague idea for now) A vampire lord and an alpha werewolf fall for each other and start a passionate affair. Their respective clans are ‘old-fashioned’ (read ‘bigoted’) and would strongly disapprove of their relationship (as in ‘execute them’ disapprove), particularly as they’re both supposed to be dominant. How can they get to stay together?

When the Empire conquered the village, she was ashamed to be taken alive. As one of the elite king’s guard she should have died with him but was knocked unconscious during the fight and taken as a slave. Enslaved to serve as a gladiator, fighting for the pleasure of the crowd, she considered killing herself, but she had a younger sister who was also taken as a slave – if she died, there would be no one to find her. She makes a bargain with her new owner: she’ll fight as best she can for him if in return he’ll send his men to try to find her sister. (In my head this was quite detailed: the gladiatrix begins a mildly BDSM relationship with her master; he’s instructed to take his famous fighter to the capital to perform where the Emperor takes a shine to her, opening up all sorts of political intrigue, and she spots a woman who looks like her sister in the stands while fighting in the imperial arena… if you’d like to try taking all of this on, then PM me!)

A young woman is raised on stories of the dragon/gryphon/giant eagle riders of the past; when her village is attacked by bandits and the other villagers sold into slavery, she escapes and goes searching for the mythical riders. She learns they no longer exist but is told of a secret valley where the last dragons/gryphons dwell. She explores the valley and only catches sight of the creatures flying far overhead. When she returns to her campsite that night she find a strange human(oid) man waiting for her. It turn out he is a dragon/gryphon shapeshifter. He agrees to act as her mount and help her save her people – if in return she’ll serve him in his bed.

A diplomatic mission between two kingdoms on the brink of war. A wizard/sorcerer on the mission discovers that the local lord’s daughter has strong natural magical talent, but no training. He offers to take her on as his apprentice, but she refuses – she doesn’t want to learn magic. Later, at the beginning of the war she is captured. The wizard discovers her as a prisoner and claims her as a slave to serve as his apprentice and lover. Whether she likes it or not.
Pairings I'd be happy to RP if you have any ideas: Vampire/human or other supernatural creature Master/Slave Master/Apprentice Bodyguard/person they're protecting Rogue/Knight
